I love Katy Perry...she and Adam are the anti-gaga. I love Gaga's voice, but her persona...not so much (Though no fucking way could she have really sung those songs, lol) I really love KP too... while I really don't think there is much special about her actually singing.. I really like some of her songs.. My DD does NOT like GG but reallly likes KP.. and you know what... I think KP is really the smarter of the 2.. GG does not seem to support other artists unless it makes her look super special.. and KP does.. look at her "Last Friday Night" vid... she even included Rebecca Black in it.. and befriended that little girl who was being bullied relentlessly (we may not have liked the song, but whatever, she was being beat up for it) Like Adam said in the clip for M&M's... the friends you make and how you are to work with.. will make a huge difference in how you're thought of in the entertainment community. RiRi... no matter what we happen to think of her.. is probably one of those "approachable" (mallable kinds of people or she wouldn't be on everyones songs.. ETA.. IMO KP could very well have said that Adam would be the better choice..that is if she was actually asked to do it. I agree....Katy is like Adam in that respect. Gaga only kisses up...not lateral. At least that's how it appears to me. And yes, I think she is capable of passing the baton. I've always liked her personality.

The thought of Katy Perry trying to sing those anthems with Queen--WTF? I think Katy is very cute and has an ear for catchy songs, but she's not much of a singer. There have been several times when a song has come on the radio and I don't recognize it right away but I think, "Man, that chick really isn't a very good singer." It always turns out to be either a Taylor Swift song or a Katy Perry song. Thank goodness Adam ended up with the EMA gig. Now if he would just be given the chance to sing at the Olympics with Queen, that would be The Dream Fulfilled!

This reminds me, did anyone else catch what Adam said about being asked a favor...... Brian: Hey Adam, I need a favor, could you please come sing with us for the EMA's?

Good Morning, have the MTV Queen on repeat and went to sleep with Show Must Go On in my head and first thing this morning singing it to myself. Gaga is to full of her self I think Brian sees right through her. I do not think this is the last we will see of Adam performing with Queen, this may of been a test to see what the reponse would be before the Olympics.

Gaga gets on my last nerve. I like many of her songs; I think she's got a lovely voice and her performances are usually stellar. BUT she's so effin' full of herself! This might be petty - but even her stupid comment that one of the EMA's was for her sister "a fashion student"? SHIT woman - who gives a flyin' crap?! This was not the setting for that kind of remark unless it was for best costume? (maybe it was and I'll look dumb).
The Queen mention on the podium irritated me too.....knowing Adam would likely have a stellar moment with the band, she seemed to be trying to make sure we all knew that Queen "played on her record". I dunno....just irked me.
Oh....and the fake crying....GAH!
(okay, I'm done. hee.)

I thought she looked slow, dance moves below par, and her legs are getting fat! Adam, on the other hand, was smokin hot, vocals soaring out of the stratosphere, killer fierce stalking the stage, HBIC command of the stage, the audience, excetera, excetera, excetera............
