OK, Thanks katycake! Finally got to see it at the site! Still loving the other edit I saw last night, several really good features of Adam. It would be really great if they would re-edit the whole performance to showcase Adam more! YW. I'd love to see the version that you saw on your TV! Maybe we'll have a YT soon. It was really awesome, esp. the close up of Adam during TSMGO!, also at the end run. I got no skillz there, someone would have to know how to pull it off their TV, plus, don't know when they will show it again on TR3. I didn't see it the first time, so I didn't know about the added text. I'm sure lambossessed will do a fabulous edit using fan vids as well. Hurry up, lambo!!!! |

What? Katy Perry? Did anyone else hear this? All the news was that they had asked GaGa.
So glad Adam was it!!!!

I love Katy Perry...she and Adam are the anti-gaga. I love Gaga's voice, but her persona...not so much
(Though no fucking way could she have really sung those songs, lol)

Both of them sang it in a lower key than the original, and on the chorus, they did not take the top melody line, but sang a lower one in harmony. Even lowered, they couldn't tackle that with the power it needed, I guess. Adam sang it in the original key, and sang the top melody line with ease and power. He also added more runs than any of the others. Still, it did not come off as ego to me, but as an interpretation of the intensity and power and determination of the song's lyrics. His voice also cut thru the instruments and soared on top of them clearly with a ring, as Freddie's did on the studio version. Quite a trick live, even with a great sound technician. You can guess whose version I liked the most. |

I woke up this morning to more of the amazing HD photos....so just thought they needed to be shown on another page of the thread!! Thank you, Reihmer for posting them. Glad we have amazing photos to capture the incredible moments on stage between Adam and Queen! 8-) If GaGa did say that quote about her being approached first by Queen , she just needs to get over herself and let Adam have his due. In tributes like this it is about the 'group' QUEEN not about who is accompanying them. Adam let Queen shine and he shined right along with them and he did it with class! I'd better not say anymore about GaGa.  Yay! Major and Minors today!!!! 8-) It comes on at 6:00pm here in the Midwest. ETA: I just saw the post about Katy Perry. I love how Adam and Katy like each other and seem to have alot of fun when they're together. But I really don't think Katy's voice could have pulled this off on stage with Queen. And I do not mean any disrespect to her. I like her.  |

Gaga doesn't share. At all. What happened was that they probably asked Adam to do the show, but wanted Gaga to do Under Pressure. Bitch probably turned it down b/c she wanted the whole damn thing to herself and she doesn't exactly have the warm fuzzies for Adam either. So she probably demanded that SHE get to do the whole thing by herself, no Adam, and they laughed in her face. Hence, the desperate, arrogant, ZOMGGG I LOVE QUEEEN AND THEY LOVEEEE MEEE speech right before the show, and the FU Under Pressure fakeout. |

I really like some of her songs.. My DD does NOT like GG but reallly likes KP.. and you know what... I think KP is really the smarter of the 2.. GG does not seem to support other artists unless it makes her look super special.. and KP does.. look at her "Last Friday Night" vid... she even included Rebecca Black in it.. and befriended that little girl who was being bullied relentlessly (we may not have liked the song, but whatever, she was being beat up for it) Like Adam said in the clip for M&M's... the friends you make and how you are to work with.. will make a huge difference in how you're thought of in the entertainment community. RiRi... no matter what we happen to think of her.. is probably one of those "approachable" (mallable  kinds of people or she wouldn't be on everyones songs.. ETA.. IMO KP could very well have said that Adam would be the better choice..that is if she was actually asked to do it. |
