Adam sang with Queen. And it was good. That's all that anyone needs to know!

The thought of Katy Perry trying to sing those anthems with Queen--WTF? I think Katy is very cute and has an ear for catchy songs, but she's not much of a singer. There have been several times when a song has come on the radio and I don't recognize it right away but I think, "Man, that chick really isn't a very good singer." It always turns out to be either a Taylor Swift song or a Katy Perry song. Thank goodness Adam ended up with the EMA gig. Now if he would just be given the chance to sing at the Olympics with Queen, that would be The Dream Fulfilled! Katy has supported Adam from the start. The Elvis cape on American Idol,with Adam Lambert's name on it..She was there to sing one of her own songs and yet she gave kudos to Adam, one of the contestants.. It was an amazing thing to do, Adam and the audience were blown away. I have loved Katy ever since I saw her, back to the AI audience, spread that amazing "Adam Lambert" cape. What a wonderful gesture for a friend to make. She's a doll in my book - guess Adam thinks so too. 8-) |

I should have known better than to go onto the Idol playlist on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Now I'm hooked. I just noticed that Kris Allen seems to have been a fan of Adam's from the beginning. The only song of his I really heard was the first from his album, but always thought he seemed like a nice guy. Watching him pumping up the audience when Adam sings at the results show reinforces that. youtu.be/K1yAbhE2igA. Last trip down memory lane I promise. I miss Kradam. There, I admit it! Me, too. I miss having Adam on my TV every Tues & Wed.  I so want him to do a variety show, every night. Well, he could have weekends off, I'll watch my DVR. Maybe all of his 2012 concerts could be televised. Or maybe he could do another type of TV show that tapes during the winter and then he could do concerts. Anyway, I have to admit that I didn't pay much attention to anyone but Adam during the actual season. After rewatching the show and all the AI tour vids gazillions of times, I became very fond of all of them except dead-wife guy. |

Do you think Adam's performance with Queen was the "big thing" that you caught wind of a few months ago?
Was this the "poop-worthy" event in your opinion?

Could be, but I kinda believe she was telling the truth when she said the MUSIC he was making was poop worthy. At least I hope so, because as much as Queen was awesomesauce, I would much rather have his own music be poop worthy. |
