So much talent and cuteness just wrapped in a bundle. You're talking about Adam, right? Seriously, you mean the kids? Yeah, them, too, I guess.

Majors and Minors is a cute show and a real gift to those kids. Would love to have videos of Adam as a child on a show like that. As usual, you all are correct about the major flaw being not enough Adam. Professions for Adam, in case this Rock Star gig doesn't work out (in no particular order): 01. Guidance Counselor 02. Makeup Artist 03. Fashion Designer 04. Director 05. Set Designer 06. Vocal Coach* (should be higher on list) 07. Children's Theater Director 08. Movie Actor 09. Musical Theater Actor 10. Musical Reality Show Judge 11. Help me out. I know I'm always thinking of things that Adam is good at doing.

Oops didn't see you there bobo. I'm sure M&M will upload the episode (I believe they did it with the first episode). Also I posted the Adam bit which was out a while back. Sorry bobo but I'm sure things will get posted fast for you. I wonder what the numbers are for viewers of this episode? I bet it's one of the highest or the highest yet! I would be curious to know. We have never watched before tonight and we are a Neilson Family this week.

What I was really taken by as well was how the other professionals on the show talked about Adam. Especially Brandy showed some real respect for him. I think we total UNDERestimate the amount of respect Adam has earned within the industry. I am keeping my fingers crossed that that reputation he has gained over the past two years will be what comes to mind when the Grammy voters look at their ballots. I know everyone fully expects Adele to sweep the Grammy nominations but I think we might actually get surprised with Adam.
We talk a lot about how Adam pimps other artists and is willing to share credit and one of the ways that pays off is in things like industry awards. When you develop a positive reputation within your industry it really goes a long way. Many of the greats who never did well in Grammy wins were those with not so positive working reputations. Also keep in mind that Adele is British and there is still a bit of a tendency for Grammy voters to snub artists from other countries if they have viable choices that are American. I honestly will not be surprised if Adele doesn't win as much as people think she will.

sorry to interrupt the M&M discussion, but I am doing it :-[: a few mins ago I clicked on the MJ archive link I got sucked into the thread posted above ( during AI8 I was a total newbie and had no idea that fan sites existed)... it is strange to be reading all the comments now, almost 3 years later, knowing the "future"... but this comment really got me laughing ( www.mjsbigblog.com/american-idol-season-8-top-4-performance-video.htm#disqus_thread bymovin2thabeet 05/05/2009 10:00 PM : This is what actually gives AI a bad name. When people HeWhoCannot amedet an evening of irrelevance and mediocrity - and claim it as great stuff. But it really wasn't. I would have liked to see and hear interesting arrangements that brought something new and exciting to the table. This is rock after all. Where was the rebellion? Sorry, but dressing the part just doesn't cut it, at least for me. Sure Adam was fine with his version of Whole Lotta Love. But, hey, I was a Led Zeppelin fan way back when, and while he did a respectable cover, really, so what? I didn't hear anything very creative in his interpretation. And, while I agree that he was the best of the evening, for me, that's not saying all that much. so, now, having heard dozens different interpretations of WLL... funny, right? now I'll go back there and read a bit more... ;D
