I just spent a week with my niece, a breast cancer survivor and this performance kept popping into my head. Melissa Etheridge's first appearance after her battle with breast cancer. I am glad we have this thread, priceless. I am immersing myself in here while we wait for Adam ii. I hope other folks find their way here and posts their greats......

Sara Bareilles from Eureka , California. A fairly new artist, started in 2007 but has sold over 3 million worldwide. iTunes offered her song , Love Song , as a free download and that's how it all started for her. Its not really a great song, but it led iTunes subscribers to her album. I used to wonder why Adam could not start selling his music this way.

Mika... hey I just bought this for my daughters they are long time fans..
anyways thanks for posting those..makes it easier to check out what they are watching without having to ask for their disc. LOL
also.. now that I have found this thread.
Ferras.. Adams friend. was on the Today show back in 2008 and had a song on American Idol that year.
anyways I think I like his other songs too.. am thinking of getting his CD from itunes or Amazon.. hmmmm

Just got home from Indigo Girls in concert (at the same venue Adam played here in Melbourne) and the version of Romeo and Juliet that Amy sang just blew my socks off. That girls has some serious pipes but the she takes Dire Straits slightly sleepy song and turns it into a tour de force full of angst - found this version on youtube that doesn't really do the live performance justice but will give you an idea...
And they didn't do this song but mentioned it when someone in audience yelled out request - is Pink Dear Mr President that features Indigo Girls. Didn't know that so looked up youtube and found this interview one with a acoustic unrehearsed sitting around on a couch performance and Pink's vocal will blow you away. Girl can SANG. (performance starts about 1.55)
