The "we'll probably do it again" had me flail. Yep. Not gonna lie. cough*Olympics*cough I think I asked twice and no- one renedered their opinion >:(  , so here it goes again: does anyone think there is a chance of a Queen tribute at the AMAs? Or would it be too much copycat? Or " we are American and will not honor a British band no matter what contribution to the world of music they've made"? |

Dunno...sure would be awesome to see Adam on TV again, but I don't see it happening. But I know nothing. ;D edit/ Is there any other excuse to have Adam sing on the AMA's? Anything?? |

Can Paul even sing anymore? Just curious...I know he's getting up there. Also at that article--the Sex Pistols? LMAO. No. Johnny Rotten couldn't sing back then and dear God I don't wanna know what he sounds like now. Besides, you're gonna start off the Olympics with the rousing, family friendly I AM AN ANTICHRIST! I AM AN ANARCHIST! lolzzz hookay.
What does it mean when they say "macca" will be joined by younger faces? Probably a good idea seeing as how most of these iconic British bands are not only populated with older men, but older men who happen to look like crypt keepers who may steal your soul and eat your children. Yeah Keith Richards, I'm looking at you.
I hope Queen is considered, but if not oh well. No guarantee Adam would perform anyways. Maybe closing ceremony tho or do they not perform then? I honestly can't remember....

Purely a guess, but seeing as though the AMAs are Sunday, I think we would have heard by now if they were honoring Queen. That part of the EMAs was not a secret. The Olympic thing looks promising, especially because some of the other "old guard" British bands have already declined (I heard on the radio the other day that the Stones still are not interested, though the story could've been taken from the one sugaree posted). After last week's dry run, hard to deny what a compelling show they can put on. That was a hell of an audition. Also, bands like The Who HAVE recently had an international stage (Super Bowl a few years ago) and it didn't go too well at all. (Daltrey's pipes were more than a tad rusty ...) |

OT, but I had asked Q3 last night if Kris had been dropped because his web site had disappeared. Lots of speculation on Idol sites. Looks like they were just updating. It is back.

Are there any videos of the EMA performance that are okay to download and put on your facebook. I downloaded a video for my video file on my computer and just uploaded it to facebook and when I just went to my facebook I got a notice that it might be copywrited material and they took it down. They said I could fight it if I wanted to. I am not real computer literate. Can anyone help me?
