Watching M&M again. There is so much WIN there. One thing I particularly liked was the shots of Adam listening to the kids sing. His face had such intensity. He was listening with his whole attention. Processing everything that he was hearing. It is a characteristic we have all noticed about Adam. That he always gives whomever he is talking to his full attention and direct gaze. It is clearly demonstrated there. It is also an example of the advice he gave the kids. He told them to "really listen." Lead by example. He did just that. (Also demonstrating the respect for other artists --- even if they are "just kids.")  |

Oh, and BTW, if I was the theater director that had Adam for eight years as a kid, I would also be quite proud. I seem to to recall that one of the tenents of the theater school Adam went to was that all the older kids helped the younger kids with whatever they needed. Adam obviously totally internalized these lessons, and IMO it now reflects in his relations to younger performers. If he's watching, he must be quite happy.  |

PRIDE is a sin???? really? like in "feeling of great accomplishment" is a sin? (sorry for this OTT question - is this some kind of religions teaching? and if yes -what religion?) Yes, pride is one of the seven deadly sins: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_deadly_sinsAlso, from the Bible Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. (Just relaying info here, not saying this is what I believe, btw.) thx, lynneville  it is obviously a matter of definition of the word IMO - the one listed in Wiki (and I assume it echoes the Bible) is way outdated. so, I AM PROUDLY FILLED WITH PRIDE FOR WHAT ADAM HAS ACHIEVED SO FAR! ETA: thanks to rihannsu and lm2718 as well this can be a very interesting discussion, especially if we start interpreting the various texts. the good thing - I learned something! |

Hi all! I've been watching the EMA performance over and over (different versions) and realized that this one on the MTV EMA site has the different edit that some people mentioned seeing yesterday. There are a few more close-ups of Adam at the beginning and, of course, and a different view is always fun. tv.mtvema.com/video/2011-belfastI have to admit, I was kind of wishing for a Suz526 vid so we could see only Adam from start to finish...oh well, it's all good! Also, even though I LOVE seeing him perform on TV, I have to say that I can't wait to see vids (and LIVE hopefully) of his concerts again when he can be as crazy, sexy and free as he wants to be. I love uninhibited Adam! Hope you all have a blessed and lovely day and week! Can't watch this in the US. Can anyone rip it for us? Is this the version we would have seen on the Live Stream? |
