Geez, aloha, is that all it takes? Here. Forget NoAngel. I'll find you some sexier green hair.... ETA: Or if yer really insistent upon green-haired angels, this one should be, you know, more angelic / less snarky: ;D Hahaha... No. Ya sure?? ;D

Awww, you are welcome, LindaG23!! I tried to post everything that's related to album #2 as we get them, picked up mostly from here and/or twitter. Anybody can and encouraged to post anything and everything about album 2 not just here (the News Thread), but also on the album #2 thread for references.

So I could add something Sia-related too (preferably non-ballad) if anyone has any suggestions. I like this SIA song.

Okay, it's been fun, guys. I've gotta go walk the doggie now. Poor doggie had a hard day. This morning when we went out for our walk we took the elevator down and it opened on the ground floor and this ENORMOUS mastiff who was waiting there with his owner spotted her and lunged at her and, apparently, started trying to eat her. My poor little pup (just around 25lbs, MUCH smaller) started squeaking in terror, but in the meantime the lunge had pulled the mastiff's owner right to the ground, which was HORRIBLE because the owner, who lives in the building, is a frail old man--probably in his late 80s!!! I don't know whether to grab the dogs or grab the owner?! ??? But as he seems to be okay and the mastiff is mauling my puppy I pull them apart and then ask if he's alright. He slowly pulls himself up and seemed to be shaken but fine. DRAMA. My doggie was fine too, but GEEZ! And now she's lives in terror of the elevator lobby. Just what she needed--another irrational terror (to add to thunderstorms, fireworks, hulahoops, subways, and driving at night. Poor little mental pup). OKAY, that was WAAAAAAYYYY off topic. SORRY! Just on my mind as I'm about to take her down into that lobby again! Hope she doesn't panic too badly. And with that I'm off. Gee, can I drag this into adam-relevance? Thankfully, there were no "broken pieces" involved and now we're going out into the cold night where "our breathing out will fade us to grey..." No, okay, maybe not. eta: yes, big thankyou from me too, wal, it was endlessly helpful. and velvet glammine, i love that sia song, too. maybe i'll add it when i get back, i remember adam loved the video!

And yes, I want Adam to take risks, but not ones that involve risking his career. A scandal with a lot of buzz does not matter, the US could use some, but please Adam, sacrifice some other skin not your own next time, thanks. ;D We could sacrifice Adam Levine or Gokey or two-dozen rappers or I probably could come up with other useful sacrifices, but pleeeaaase, not Adam. Thank you Craazyforadam, you articulated your points so well! And I agree with much of what you say. Two thoughts I have: 1) I believe that Adam transcended the AMA scandal because he is a fighter and wants with every fibre of his being to succeed in his chosen career, and he was willing to work like an animal to make that happen. And because his label and management saw that fight in him and they believed in him and they were able to see the big picture. Together they worked it out to capitalize on the AMAs (in terms of international coverage) and move beyond it (in terms of U.S. appearances). It was quite brilliant, imo. 2) I really don't think Adam or his people can predict what type of risk is "safe" (lol) and what is not. It's really hard to know what people are going to freak out about. Look at how many celebs get into trouble with drugs or alcohol and no one really bats an eye. Chris Brown beats a woman and people still buy his music. Celebs can do all kinds of ridiculous things and still have fantastic careers. The biggest risk, IMO, for Adam is to get all wrapped up in trying to predict the response to any potential action and basing what he does on how people are going to react. The only thing he can do is to be himself. And he is the kind of person who will continue to take risks. Hopefully it will pay off and he will have the career he so deserves. If he crashes, it will only be because he flew too close to the sun.
