Adam will be there next year when his album explodes and it will be groundbreaking to have a gay man as their sexiest! Adam is "next!"

Lulu2365 Lulu2365 RT @mmyy9 GAY MARRIAGE WITH THE STARS (Adam at EQCA at 2:46) youtu.be/9GW1F-yVg_A TraipsingThruFilms Uploaded Nov 16, different from Aug one I enjoyed this video! I was just going to watch Adam's part but ended up watching the whole thing. Curious: How would the posters here answer this question? If you're straight, what person of the same sex would you choose for a romantic partner? If you're gay, what person of the opposite sex would you pick? Me--I think Jennifer Garner is hot. I like her looks and her personality. Alas, I know she'd never give up Ben Affleck to be with me! :

Adam/Bruno's tweet. I am not too crazy about the song and like cassie said the vocal is strained. Plus, it is in Bruno's sappy genre of music that is not my favorite. But his tweet is adorable and not just because he RT'd Adam. It is just funny and shows an admirable self-awareness; yes indeed in the the key of WTF #songsforsquirrels. This humor is what I see in my favorite Bruno Mars songs, like Billionaire and that Friday one. I hope he does tweet support for Adam's new music. That would make me happy. And maybe Adam likes the song because when he is singing along with the radio, it actually sounds good. To whom it may concern: For all future purposes, please refer to any relevant LindaG23 post for my opinions about Bruno Mars. Thank you. MWP. but Chunkey, just to be clear, speaking only for my self, if Adam wrote that drippy piece of fluff I would still find it a drippy piece of fluff. I can say that with 100% confidence because there has been occasional drippy fluff that has emerged from those beautiful lips over the years, and transcendent as it may sound in that voice, my cynical ass has never been able to enjoy it. But I might be more likely to bite my tongue about it here because what's the point of spoiling everyone's fun! I do think, however, that there is a certain kind of hetero-normative teenaged melodramatic cliche that we just won't see from Adam (any more than he would write Taylor Swiftian music, and I happen to think she's very good at what she does). I'm sure he's perfectly capable of wallowing in angst and piling on the cheese (hmm, is it disturbing that the thought of wallowy angst piled high with cheese is making me hungry?) but we'll never get that suffering-guy-worships/protects/comforts-possibly-hard-hearted-perfectly-beautiful-girl schtick from him (blech!) and for that I am eternally grateful!!!

Wow! I'm gone for a day, and ATOP exploded with new international de-lurkers! I raced through yesterday's thread, gathering new names and places, and rushed over to the ATOP Member map to update it and, oops, we've gotten too big to display everyone at once! The last four names carry over to the 2nd "page" ... their flags don't show unless you scroll all the way down the list on the left side and click on the "2" ... but then ONLY their flags show .... aarrrggghhh! I guess a project for another day is to separate the map, one for the USA and one for the international fans. Until then, here is the URL for the map as it stands now: tinyurl.com/ATOP-MapI raced through yesterday's thread so fast, I may have missed someone. If so, please PM me so you can be added to the map. Here are the ones I added: QueenAI - Austria bv210631 - Latvia musicgirl - Croatia heathers - Denmark nonchallance - Poland wingsofbutterflies - Calgary (via Bulgaria) mar - Buenos Aires, Argentina I also noticed that iceish (Toronto) was not on the map, and I moved lanat from Bermuda to Connecticut. For the newer members, the listing on the left side is in the order they showed in the ATOP member list at the time the map was created ... that is, in order of the number of posts made at that time; therefore, the newer members get added at the bottom of the list. When I re-do this, perhaps I'll re-arrange them alphabetically so it is easier to find folks.

If I had to pick someone closer to my age, hmmm....... maybe Jennifer Aniston. It was interesting seeing which celebrities seemed uncomfortable with the question!

But-but-some people like "drippy fluff" and "wallowing in angst" and "cheese" sometimes. It doesn't seem right to me to put down these artists and their listeners. At times the mood hits for exactly that - a song that I can cry too and suffer to and angst with. It's great for emotional release. There is a market for angst and wallowing and I would never say "blech" to this music. Millions of people buy this "blech" music. I hope Adam does do some so-called "drippy wallowy angst" and I am far from a "teenaged melodramatic cliche" lover. I would rather call it souful and deep and stirring and emotionally moving. What's wrong with a good wallow anyway? 8-) ETA-I find Angelina Jolie pretty hot.
