Canadian lurker here. I am on the map but in the wrong spot. My flag is in the middle of Saskatchewan. I actually live in Guelph, Ontario, not too far from Toronto. You've now been moved from "Canada" to Guelph, Ontario ... thanks for checking in!

Such exciting times in the fandom! As was mentioned earlier, I also wonder if the extraordinary Queen performance had anything to do with the AMA's wanting Adam now. Or buzz about Trespassing. I think it seems like a recent decision with Adam not being announced with the other presenters. Adam announcing the title on a Friday afternoon makes me wonder if he recently found he would present and wanted the info out there for interviews. I too feel like it was a recent decision, why keep him a secret unless something more is happening which I think is unlikely! :-/

I actually liked the AMA performance, and believe it helped build his Global brand! When it first happened, I was like Then when he got cancelled from GMA and the NYE gig, I was like But now a couple years later, and he still gets press from it, and it is the only performance anyone still talks about of any of AMA performance since, or probably even remembers, I am like Keep them talkin Adam!

Beg for Money is #129 on Amazon right now. haha. Albums are supposed to move up as their release day approaches. This one has gone for a high of 70 down to 129. hahaha.
I don't know what that BFM cover is supposed to be but it looks to me like a guy looking over the side of a giant dumpster. ;D

IMHO,Adam loves being anywhere and everywhere.. He goes for it.. so even if he was asked to the AMAS late.. he just loves the whole show business thing.. and is always like great sign me up.. X Factor comes to mind. He's such a fan boy of other stars himself.Love his refreshing enthusiasm!

I think the fact that Adam will even be at the AMAs is huge. I honestly didn't think that would ever happen. He's been shut out of a lot of the big award shows here. I wonder if a lot of these fence mending, full circle moments are DMG's doing. Maybe they're not something 19 could, or would, make happen. It seems like it might be important to Adam, from a karmic standpoint, to truly put the past behind him before he moves forward. It also opens up the awards shows and ABC shows for the new era. I know we were bitching before because he wasn't on their website or something, but I think DMG has been doing a helluva lot for him behind the scenes and I think this really is going to be an explosive era.

Ha, ha! Revisionist history at it's finest! I had tickets for the Jimmy Kimmel show performance! It is not a live show, so the excuse used for GMA would not apply there. So, yes, he was banned. Except for The View and I think Barbara Walters just carries so much clout, they couldn't say "No" to her! When I told a friend, from this board, who only lurks, her response was, "Did Dick Clark die?"

Excerpt: " “We didn't censor,” says Klein. “The kiss went on and that's all there is to it...” As for the future, Klein very much looks forward to another Lambert performance, but not this year. “Adam Lambert is a friend of ours, he's talented and I like everything about him,” says Klein, “It’s like [AMAs creator] Dick Clark always used to say: ‘I don't care what people do on stage because a stage is for their performance. I care about how people act offstage."So. It's all kisses and puppies and rainbows with the AMA management, and always was.-------------------------------------------------------------------- LOL!!!! I'm not quite caught up, but these gifs capture my emotions exactly when I woke up to the news and read that article. I half-expected Adam to present, but then to read an AMA producer berting and being all "yeah, yeah, it was no big deal, we luv him" was a major mindfuck! I'm thrilled that they are talking about it in this way, though. If they're inviting him back and minimizing what went down, fine. They wouldn't be doing that if they didn't think he has staying power. They're already talking about future appearances, so hopefully next year he'll perform again. Also, A++++++ to Adam's new management. Love their work so far! :D
