Yes! And I have been vocally critical of them so I am eating my words!! ;D They have to have played a major role in this!
Someone asked what time zone Adam is in today. I am guessing he is back in LA because there will be a rehearsal, even for presenters.
And oh man, can not wait to read Sauli's blog next week!

Ha, ha! Revisionist history at it's finest! I had tickets for the Jimmy Kimmel show performance! It is not a live show, so the excuse used for GMA would not apply there. So, yes, he was banned. Except for The View and I think Barbara Walters just carries so much clout, they couldn't say "No" to her! When I told a friend, from this board, who only lurks, her response was, "Did Dick Clark die?"  hahaha..."Did Dick Clark die?" That was my first thought when I read the news. ;D |

Getting ready to do my daughterly duties for the day, so will be away from computer (but have my GNT concert companion texting me updates) and while in the shower, I had an epiphany. Adam should come out to present with a big, sparkly, red A on his jacket. Unfortunately, since the literary expertise of the nation is sadly lacking, the reports would undoubtedly be that he was being glammy, show-offy, or self-centered. HOWEVER, for those who would "get it" it would be hilarious.

Revionist history at its best! “Adam Lambert was never banned from the show,” says American Music Awards executive producer Larry Klein. “Adam Lambert is a friend of ours, he’s talented and I like everything about him.” Klein says there’s definitely a possiblity that Adam could perform on the AMA’s in the future."
Translation by me: We never expected Adam Lambert to become the rising star that he is. We thought that performance had killed his career. Besides, the FCC found no basis for the complaints. So because we think his next album will be huge, we want to mend fences because our ratings last year were so bad. And we want him to perform in 2012.

Beg for Money is #129 on Amazon right now. haha. Albums are supposed to move up as their release day approaches. This one has gone for a high of 70 down to 129. hahaha. I don't know what that BFM cover is supposed to be but it looks to me like a guy looking over the side of a giant dumpster. ;D I, like others, got the recent email from Amazon announcing the BFM CD. It was truthful and not deceiving. I might have bought it for my collection even though I'm not much interested in the Citizen Vein music. Too bad for the fraudsters. |
