With all the good news of the last few days, I decided to delurk for a while. Just for you to have another mark in your beautiful map. I noticed the lack of adamtopians in Portugal! And it is just wrong. By the way, I didn't listen to the demo and I am not going to do that. Just waiting for the real stuff. Hi!! gzkey!!! I think the song needs to be reworked, but those lyrics are Adam. From all he has told us about himself and new/old relationships, when looking for a new song I can see him relating to "Better Than I Know Myself." He didn't write it, but I think those words could have come out of his mouth. I am kind of excited to see what he does with it using that beautiful/powerful voice, and his incredible diction. We won't miss a sound or word.

OK, somebody please explain to me what does this trespassing mean. The traslation gives me like there is this expression no trespassing and that I understand, but what else does this mean? Help needed. #notenglishasamotherlanguage "Trespassing" means you are venturing somewhere that you've been warned not to go. Loosely translated. "No trespassing" is usually a sign that is posted asking others to stay away. |

WWFM has a very, very low burnout rate on radio -- and was played in three formats. It was not my fav track on FYE -- but it was probably the best radio single on the album.
BTIKM will also fit into three formats -- Pop, HAC and AC. And since Adam had time to really work on this track, I am certain it is suitably Adamized. In the US, Canada, NZ and Australia, there are a lot of PDs ready and waiting to add an Adam Lambert track. (I do not follow other markets closely enough to know what is going on. But UK tweets were upbeat.) So they will be able to push it up the charts more rapidly than WWFM. I am really optimistic about the prospects for BTIKM.

I gotta say - I really liked WWFM - a lot. But, honestly, I love even the demo of "Better Than I Know Myself" as a song much, much more. Not an expert on anything, but I listen to the radio every day (driving) and this is EXCACTLY what I want to hear: coz if i wanted to go i woulda gone by now but i really need you near me to keep my mind off the edge if i wanted to leave i woulda left by now but youre the only one that knows me better than i know my seeeeelf. I know nothing, I listen to top40 about an hour or so a day, and I've listened to hit predictor for months, and this song seems like with some updating it would fit in perfectly and showcase his vocals well. Plus it's much better than a lot of the stuff being tried out for top 40 on hit predictor. Two other things, someone did ask Claude about this song on twitter back when the demo first surfaced, and asked about if the song had changed with Adam and he responded with a very winky, wait and see/oh yeah kinda answer. Does anybody have this tweet?Also it might be just a joke but I thought that the (or one of the) Benny Blanco produced song(s) was referred to on twitter as "No boys allowed?" again there is probably something in the archives about this. ETA: plus you know those turtle sex noises will be worked in  oh yeah this could be the song for that .... |
