The album will be called "Trespassing" and it will come out Spring 2012. This is what he said about his artistic vision regarding his new work. "Following the trend of dance music was something I really wanted to do with this album. I love my fans and I wanted them to give them songs to be devoured. But the challenge was "how could I make dance music while staying true to what I can do with my voice and what I do now.?"And that's how I ended up with funk. There will be electronic, funky and swing music. This period of time I listened a lot to Michael Jackson and Prince and I started going to that direction. " |

Pick U Up -- which is one of my favs!!! The song Adam has never done live! (Not counting Bonus Tracks, it is the only FYE track he skipped.) The other ones not done live are Master Plan, and Can't Let You Go. And TFM was only done in a sound check (Las Vegas). - in the interest of accuracy I feel compelled to mention that Adam performed Pick U Up during the sound check at the Hard Rock show in Hollywood Florida on September 19, 2010. A very few of us inside waiting for the meet and greet were privileged to hear it and it was sublime. OH! I need a recording!!!>!?!?!?!?!?!??!? Does anyone have one? So it is like TFM -- which also was done at a sound check -- Las Vegas. And CLYG was not even done as a sound check was it? It is, of course, my favorite!! |

Showing off our Adam mugs that were one of the presents in the gift bags bamafan brought us. This is the whole group except for Mr. mangokat, Mr. mayumi and Justwishin. Justwishin had taken her tongue to bed. ;D glamtealady and sandysva have their eyes closed cause they're meditating over their tongue tea. Here is some info on the AMA performance financing that may be of interest ---- This year’s show is a budget buster if ever there was one. A single performance on the AMAs can cost more than $500,000 to put on. The record companies chip in, seeing the TV time as a massive promotional opportunity for their artists to get in front of more than 10 million people in one shot, but, needless to say, it’s not like the old days. “It's very expensive to do this show,” says Klein. “The labels do help out, but they’ve had to put a cap on it. I want 18 mini-shows within my show; that costs money.” It doesn’t help matters that, adds Klein, “prices are out of control… I've been saying for the last month-and-a-half, ‘Doesn't anybody know that we’re in a bad economy?’ Thank god DCP allows me the finances to do this because all the artists talk about are our productions.” Indeed, given the freedom and financial support to promote their latest albums or singles days before the holiday shopping season kicks off has made the AMAs a coveted booking for superstar acts, most of whom will be seated in the front row on Sunday night (a sneak-peek at the seating arrangement had Bieber, his girlfriend Selena Gomez, Perry and Lopez positioned next to each other in the theater’s prime spots).
