fallenangel, the article is a Dec 2011 issue, so next month would be January, 2012.  The article in EW says single next month and that is dated today! Ahhh, I just saw that, I was thinking about the RS article. Ooops.  |

Last one. I was searching around for Winwood and came across this from a concert with Eric Clapton in 2007. Stanning keeps reminding me of things I forgot, like OMG can Clapton play guitar.

I didn't read it as Pharrell saying Adam SOUNDS like Steve Winwood, just that he has the same impressive range which isn't happening in music for men right now. I sometimes wonder if I'm odd for not taking everything said about Adam so literally? I guess I read between the lines or something *shrug* Sorry man but I know like NOTHING about Steve Winwood lol so it's not THAT crazy for me to be thinking he could be comparing voices since the last time I heard Steve Winwood sing I was like EIGHT. I'll go take a time out on the naughty seat tho lol. I know nothing about him either other than vague memories. I couldn't tell you what he sounds like at all in fact, but in reading the comment from Pharrel he specifically said " this kid has a voice like a siren - there's no guy singing in that Steve Winwood/Peter Cetera RANGE" which indicates he isn't comparing their voices per se as much as their vocal ability. |

In Europe, Steve Winwood is considered one of the best voices ever in the history of music. Not by me, by experts. ;D ORLY? Maybe I just haven't heard the right songs of his....hmm. Anyways it cool to see someone like Pharrell--who obvs knows his musical shit--bert it out. Good timez. LOL you don't have to like him. Maybe you won't. Anyway this is one of my fav songs |

Wonderstruck... don';t think you are odd at all.. LOL.. I didn't think it was saying Adam Sounded like Winwood/ Cetera just that Adam "sings" in the same type of way...VOICE LIKE A SIREN is what Pharrell said..
