I hope they incorporate the dubstep like they did with Brit's HIAM.....it's juuust the right amount...not overpowering at all. I mean, Adam;s voice with this kinda beat? SICK. Trespassing - a swaggering cut that evokes Another One Bites the Dust.OMG!!!!!!! Another One Bites the Dust is one of the Queen songs I have been hoping to see Adam sing someday! The dancing would be so sexy we might all instaneously combust! So excited about this track now!!!!!!! (As if I wasn't before!) ETA: I like TPass, Q3!

Hopefully they incorporate it in a way that doesn't make me wanna punch someone lol. Oh and can I say I absolutely hope his album cover does not look like that Hans Haveron shit? I think it's fucking ugly as sin and looks like the cover of some fantasy card game a bunch of fat 40 yr old virgin dudes would play in their Mom's basement. YMMV ...lol (Sorry Gelly! Don't throw rocks!) Yeah, I'm gonna hope/assume that Adam uses the dubstep judiciously. ;D I'm kinda lolling and facepalming at your description of Hans H art. Because though it's breaking from the underground into the mainstream, pop surrealism/new contemporary/underground art at it's worst (IMO) is like this. It comes out of the traditional illustrations in fantasy/sci-fi/comics/tattoo art/manga. Basically when I see a lot of stylized childlike faces and gravity defying boobs I tend to zone out. BUT the surrealism/speculative future/political commentary/metaphorical aspect of it if done really well can be interesting. I really wanna see what Adam does with his cover. |

LOL Well obvs you are more knowledgeable about it than I am, and art is subjective....but it just gives me bad sci fi convention feelings lol. Like the kind of sci fi art they would sell in the airport Hilton during shows advertised with commercials saying ART! ART! AND MORE ART! OUR PRICES HAVE BEEN SLASHED! WE HAVE TO SELL! lol I'm super picky when it comes to more modern pop-ish art....and most of it flies right over my head *shrugs* |

Have we mentioned that "Trespassing" could be seen as more or less the exact opposite of our chosen imaginary title for Adam 2: "Unlocked" ? Pretty funny. Somehow the key-tattoo still seems relevant, though. Damn, suddenly everything seems to be happening so quickly. I'd kinda hoped (still kinda do) that Adam would get a chance to get away over the holls and have a romantic Finnish Christmas with Sauli (great thing about mixed-religion romances, and I speak from experience: no competition over which family to go to on the holidays!). Seriously, I don't think that it's only in my imagination that Finnish Christmas-time is magical:   (Don't throw rocks at me for wanting a slow-down...my whole family's gonna be around well through new years, and it'll seriously cut down on my squee-time) |
