I know you are all very nice, but to be honest I´m cringing inside - and then I kinda translated something - so to all german speaking people out there - if you could make a translation, that´s actually working in English - please do :-[

ETA: Just saw in my preview that it is clickable - we´ll see. I´m still not believing in my technical skills.

The ratings are in for Sunday night, and it still seems that America loves two things first and foremost -- awards shows and football.

We already know that the NFL game between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants won the night, so that's no surprise at all.

With a 4.3 rating, the 2011 American Music Awards were about even in the 18-49 demo with last year's show -- though they did gain some total viewership this time around.

Over on CBS, both "The Good Wife" and "CSI: Miami" fell below a 2.0 rating -- while this will likely change a bit due to football, it probably won't be favorable.

On Fox, the lack of football in the late afternoon hurt a few of their comedies -- primary "The Simpsons" and "Allen Gregory." (The latter dropped to a series low 1.9 rating -- doomint itself to be gone soon.)
