Adam , YOU ? CONTROL FREAK? Nawwww..... LOL I was just thinking the same! Hahahahha! Adam is the textbook definition of a control freak and there's no point in him denying it! ;D It's kind of interesting to think that for so much of his life, though, he had to follow someone else's rules as he was doing the musical theatre thing. Even those meanies at the Zodiac Show wouldn't give him his flaming headdress. And now he's finally able to let his control freak flag fly high, lol!

Yeah and at not being a control freak, Adam. Let your control freak flag fly, indeed, noangel. But I do think this is why he was meant to be a star and that his vision will always be his own. He can't surrender it to anyone. He's too sure of it and himself. He's a great collaborator (by all accounts), so he walks that fine line of respecting the contribution of others while not being intimidated by them, no matter who they are. His control freak is serving him well right now and he should get and enjoy full credit for all success that comes his way. BTW, someone tweeted that they were reading the comments under the FYE vid on YT. I went to go watch since I hadn't seen it in a while (UUNNNFFFF!!!) and I read the first seven pages of comments and they were all from the past few days ???, seemingly from a LOT of young (to very young) commenters who just seem to have just recently discovered him. The consensus: Holy F*ck!! He is HOT!! ETA: That flickering fingers gif will never not be hilarious and adorable beyond belief, Gelly.

I don't know what's going on with my little radio station here in E Central IL, but they'v been playing WWFM the last 3 days. I think Adam's getting about as much play as they were giving him last year! (Of course, I guess they could have been playing him all along; ha, I wouldn't know since I only turn on the radio when I'm leaving the dogs alone.) It's kind of mystifying me. Maybe others are missing hearing an non-auto-tuned voice on pitch? Anyway it gives me hope when his new song is released I won't have to wait 6 mos. to hear it on this radio station.

Based on the almost unanimous positive response that Adam received on QUEEN fan sites, my impression is that most core QUEEN fans are fine with someone sing these songs if they do it well and do not "mock" Freddy or pretend to be Freddy. my sister is a big Queen fan and a casual Adam fan. But she didn't like the performance. Not because she thinks Adam was bad but she thinks his voice didn't suited the songs. She also thinks that Freddie Mercurys personality, charisma and voice made Queen so special and that noone should sing this songs, because noone can match Freddie. I totally disagree with her. Apart from that I think Adam was fantastic and noone could have suited better, such collaborations have to happen, just because if they do not, Queens music would die sooner or later. I have not known much about Queen before the EMA, their biggest hits sounded familiar and Freddie death because of AIDS but not more. Just because of this performance I listened to their songs and liked them. And if this is not a good reason for a collaboration than I don't know what else. I do not think that she was aware of what her wish, that noone else but Freddie should sing the songs, implies and I did not argue with her cause I knew that usually it does not help, but causes her to stick to her opinion even more. Just wanted to share this but had not much time since the EMAs and seeing it discussed today, i did it now. Going back to page 3. The other thing about collaborations with Queen - It is sad to think that great talents like Roger and Brian should not be able to work with the singer of their choice. I have always been a fan, but hadn't listened to them for quite a while. I watched part of the 1981 Montreal concert on YouTube last night, and was so impressed by Roger's and Brian's playing. Freddie was fabulous, but the other three are great musicians as well. Why should they, as artists, be deprived of the thrill of a performance like the EMAs?

So is there a possibility that songs not chosen for the album will surface as digital EPs or singles later on?

They're making an outfit for HIM! Did we know that? NO!!! I don't think we knew that!!!! Oh, good. I was a bit insecure about flailing, in case everybody already knows it except for me, so at the end I compromised on one flailing smily ;D
