Can't quite figure out the Fan Army thing. I click on it and it's a distorted mix of tiny numbers. I think I'll have to skip it. Maybe it's my computer.
Intrigued by Adam snippet of In This World. I watched the original on YouTube. The lyrics are very timely in this "virus" world we are in. Pay attention to them when you listen to the whole song. And it's a cool video, too. I think Adam is singing it to show his feelings of isolation and of wanting to connect with human beings again in a normal way. We are all yearning for that day to come back. The video is about trying to connect with others in a new place. And I've always like Moby.
I know Adam talks to people and sees people in person, too, but he must feel the melancholy of being alone a lot and not living normally. At least that's my take on it.

I sure would be nice is Adam got the OZ judging gig. Pretty high profile. Media attention. Nice paycheck. Good thing to have on his resume. He has a strong fan base in Australia. I know it's not in the US, but still. In order to stay in the game, you have to play. The timing would likely not work out anyway. We don't know what Shosh is referring to with her comment about Adam being busy in 2021 with things other than QAL. I just hope it's true. Still can't figure out Idol's steadfast resistance to hiring Adam as an actual judge. He's done a lot on that show. Frequent guest performer. Mentor. Substitute judge. He's one of their biggest success stories. Go figure. Are the singing competition shows kind of running their course? I know The Voice in the US is doing Ok. And Idol is hanging in there. But overall, it seems that the big vibe is just not there anymore. (I'm not talking about this particular year with the virus interference. I'm talking about generally over the past five or six years.) And the winners don't seem to become big stars. I know there are plenty of young singers out there with big hopes and dreams, but maybe the public is suffering from singing show fatigue. Article I found yesterday was pretty iffy about Voice Oz success because if it was gangbusters then the original channel would have been more anxious to keep it in it's lineup instead of letting their options lapse. (they didn't think much of the new channel overall) But that means lots of opportunities to freshen it up as well as reasons to change airing seasons etc.
