All the pics of those ugly Amish type hats just show how different Adam's hat is. Look at the "crown" of the hats. The old fashioned ones are rounded. Adam's is in the style of a fedora with a large brim.
I like Adam's hat dammit! 8-)

Actually -- that Mr. Collin's parson hat is nothing like an Amish hat. So funny how we all see things differently. To me, Adam looks a bit woebegone in the pic from Mr. Blacks. I remember thinking so at the time, and even more so now that he's spoken about how he was feeling in those days-- sort of trying to figure out how to fit into real life again and what his new album should sound like. I think it was a few days after that pic that he moved into his house, and then a couple weeks afterwards that the pics came out of him and Sauli at Disneyland. So when I see that photo I just want to pat him on the arm and tell him, "it gets better, dude..."  |
