I'm very conflicted about sharing this, but since this is where I spend hours every day, I'm going to. Last night I mentioned my granddaughter's friends seeing the Queen performance and being impressed. At 1 am, while I was still stanning, my son-in-law came in to say goodnight and make a joke about the kids and my campaigning for Adam. We laughed and went to bed. When my daughter woke up this morning, he had died of a brain aneurysm sometime between 5am and 7:30am. He was 11 yrs older than my daughter, one of my best friends (I knew him before my daughter did,) and the absolute nicest guy and best dad in the world. He leaves an 18yr old college freshman, a 15 yr old high school freshman, and a first grader, all of whom adored him. I'm in my room trying to find anything to help me deal with the next 4 or 5 days. There will be no moving back to Myrtle Beach, need to be here to help everyone deal with life. Bottom line, I guess, is live and enjoy your life while you can because we are not guaranteed tomorrow. You all help me enjoy that life every day and I thank you. >:(SAVVY i'm realy sorry for your loss.Sending to you and your family my deepest sympathy & thoughts.TAKE CAIRE Attachments:

We will all be thinking of you as you endure the next few days and help your family through the most terrible of times. Once all the formalities are over with I hope you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings with us as your family begins it's forever process of healing. Sometimes are bodies just betray us. There is never a grand explanation. There will be a time when your sadness will be replaced with quiet smiles as you remember him. Thank God the youngest in your family have you around to help them remember him as the years pass. I am genuinely sorry to hear of your family's sudden loss. Be gentle to yourself during this time.

katycake...I've been trying for 20 minutes to get that song (not that version) off of YT. Seemed so appropriate. You're a gem! When he wails at 3:48...I do too for you Savvy.

Just checked in due to twitter party catch-up (I missed it, of course!) and...talk about putting things in perspective... Savvy, after a busy laptop-free day yesterday, I did my usual wind-down routine and came here to lurk--and I smiled at your post about your family. And now, within 24 hours all has changed. I'm so very sorry. Your family will lean on each other for strength; and you know you can lean on the people here who love you whenever you need to.
