savvy92 - losing someone healthy and young with no warning has to be one of the hardest things ever. At least when someone has a terminal illness you have time to say good-bye. It really is a stark reminder that no one ever knows the day or hour and to not waste time over petty arguments and worries. My thoughts are with you and I hope coming here can be a little comfort.

Just a quick de-lurk to thank all you guys for the hours of entertainment you’ve give me since I started following you on Planet Fierce. I haven’t posted much, but I’m here every day sometimes into the small hours because of our differing time zones, over here we’re all going to sleep when you are in full swing!
The reason I was prompted to de-lurk today, was because it is a special anniversary for me. One year ago today I saw Adam at the GNT in Manchester. I’d seen all the youtubes and Idol TV performances, but until you have seen and heard him live, you don’t realise that not only is he fantastic, he is out of this world. He was on brilliant form that night and his rapport with the crowd was amazing, have a look at Suz526’s If I Had You youtube and you’ll see what I mean, he was on fire! (I think I should say fiyah!)
You’ve probably heard people say this before, and I admit I was a bit sceptical, but during Soaked I definitely felt I had eye contact with Adam that seemed to last forever. I was centre about six rows back and had spent a bit of time dodging people in front of me to get a good view. During Soaked, no-one moved, I had a completely clear view and to be honest, I was completely unaware of anyone else in that audience, it was as if they had all parted and as Adam reached out his hand, I felt transfixed and spellbound. All I remember is shaking my head in disbelief at what I was seeing and hearing, I felt as if he had touched my soul.
I knew if I posted and shared this here, I would find people who understood how I feel, we’re still a bit out of touch over here, mention of my favourite subject can often induce a disinterested eyeroll. I can’t wait for Trespassing to be released in the Spring and the single sooner-ish. I’m keeping an eye out for BFM in our local HMV and will be re-filing it somewhere in the Scottish Piping section if I find it!
Hurry and catch up UK, you don’t know what you have been missing!
I was about to post this and saw Savvy’s sad news, I’m so very sorry for you and your family and I hope can take strength from all your internet friends here who care about you so much. Peace and love to you. x
