I don't like delurking much but I have to in defense of Adommy. I'm not a cray but I do appreciate some Adommy action and there are many of us who do. Adam knew what he was doing when he chose Tommy. If he thought he needed a more experienced guitarist he would have gotten one. He's a perfectionist after all. He chose Tommy for good reason because he wanted someone to play off of and Tommy was perfect for that. I think Tommy was probably the best choice out of all the band members, although they are all good. Adam is a solo artist not the lead singer of a band so the band is secondary, imho. I really have no interest in who he chooses for the band as long as Tommy is part of it because he and Adam play off each other so well and make it a more fun experience.

Agree! Tommy added much the the GNT experience!!!! I bet he will work his heart out to be what ever type of guitarist Adam needs next go round.
He is working on it already, and using twitter just as cleverly as Adam does:
Just the other day Tommy got asked on twitter if he was old enough to remember funk. He answered: “Yes, I am ALL about Zapp & Roger right now.”
Another one of his twitter replies “baby arm holding an apple” quoted a funk song if I’m not mistaken (someone here posted the YT).
The way I see it, those are very "subtle" and casual ways to get "funk" & "Tommy" into peoples minds. Very smart IMHO
Also on twitter, when asked what he is doing, he mostly has only two answers: Watching horror movies (what everyone expects of him), and practicing. Also, lately he bought (and tweeted pics of)lots of only guitars, not a single bass that I can remember.
Previously I pictured him as just a (very) pretty blond, but the above (AND snagging an awsome gal like Liz Ann) makes me think better of him.
ETA: sorry, a couple of guitars is "lots" to me ... it was two or three, the last couple of months ...
ETA2: uuuups ... sorry to all the blonds out there, I feel bad!!!! Bottle-blonds do still have a bad reputation in my part of the woods, and IMO Tommy is playing up to that image on purpose .... apologies !!!!
