For me, personally, Adam's twitter parties are usually pretty boring, with very little new/interesting information. I'm really hoping when promo kicks in, that DJs and journalists will be the ones asking for questions, and I'm hoping they'll choose some good ones from our Ask Adam thread! (well, after all the questions are tweeted!) I don't think Adam, himself, will ever answer our "good questions." :-/ Eh, as I remember the djs and so-called journalists asked the same questions over and over: Madonna, Gaga, Idol, AMAs, gay. In fact, didn't Adam tweet from Europe that he was sick of journalists asking the same questions over and over? Truth is, Adam did get some good questions during his twitter party, but he chose not to answer them. I think he had an agenda and was choosing bland questions pretty much at random until he got the question he wanted to answer -- about the band -- then signed off. |

.. Other than I often think he has one primary purpose (yesterday's was to float the "band will be changing" news out there) and the rest is more of a fun distraction. yeah, totally agree. One important piece of info plus any fun questions his eye catches along the way  Since it's slow, can anyone help me identify the girl in this pic plzzzz? To me it looks like Alisan..  |

It looks like Adam is using Twitter as a kind of litmus test... to figure out the degree of fandom's opinion on something he is planning... social networks, to a certain extent, are able to provide some informal market research data.... Adam has probably realized by now ,that his biggest asset is not solely his talent, his charisma, but also the accumulation of loyal fans. He is making sure his core market strengthens and grows. Twitter, Facebook,MySpace and all others out there... gives voice... but as any entrepreneur knows..it is equally important to hear what isn't being said... Adam is both artist... and entrepreneur.... tough ... YIELD: Trespassed by a Leaching Voice |

I guess I might be alone here but I think sometimes Adam is having a twitter party without a specific reason. I noticed that 2 of his recent twitter parties made on Sundays , started when BB Finland started and ended when BB ended. Especially yesterday I saw people on twitter saying that the minute Adam said “till next time” it was the same minute that BB Finland ended. So maybe he wanted to pass the time, while Sauli was watching BB, simple as that. And I don¢t know if this is true, I guess it is, since these people were Finnish. And if he¢s doing it just because he was bored AND he sees a question that suits a purpose, fine.
I¢m not saying that I¢m not grateful for his twitter parties, I¢m ALWAYS grateful, whatever the reason might be, either it is because he was bored waiting for a flight to catch, or he wants to address something or he wants to please us, or he really wants to talk to us, and sometimes I DO believe that he's seaking comfort from us, I¢m only saying that he isn¢t always trying to address something.
