Just came home and will jump in, cuz I've started reading the thread at page 20 . . . I think the three fuzzy photos are family pictures; not a Madonna or MJ or Bowie among them! Erm, except that when you zoom in you can CLEARLY SEE the MJ and Madonna covers. LOL.

Wikipedia says there was an original cover featuring more of the dog: "The cover art features Bowie as a striking half-man, half-dog grotesque painted by Belgian artist Guy Peellaert. It was controversial as the full painting clearly showed the hybrid’s genitalia. Very few copies of this original cover made their way into circulation at the time of the album's release. According to the record-collector publication Goldmine price guides, these albums have been among the most expensive record collectibles of all time, as high as thousands of US dollars for a single copy. The genitalia were quickly airbrushed out for the 1974 LP’s gatefold sleeve, although the original artwork (and another rejected cover featuring Bowie in a sombrero cordobés holding onto a ravenous dog, an image captured by Terry O'Neill[9]) was included in subsequent Rykodisc/EMI re-issues." claire.nu/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/david_bowie_-_diamond_dogs-front.jpg(I could see how the Lambert boys might have found that creepy.) If it's one of the originals or a copy of that, would it fit the blobs better?

I was wondering if he maybe had actual photographs of the covers, which would explain the different coloring in the top one. Ya, momtomany, definitely Madonna and Michael on the bottom 2.

The similarities in hue, color-saturation, composition, etc. were so close, but it looked like it was cropped differently than the standard cover that was showing. If the cropping was taken from the original, fold-out cover and moved left, it could be it.

There is clearly some large green blob in this pic....I don't know why I even care lol I must be HELLA BORED.

It's really cool that he has a "wall of musical influences."

Feel like I just took the ink-blot personality test! Hmmm . . . you see rawk stars; I see apple pie . . .
Bottom looked like a boy's blond head hugging the head of a dog . . .
Middle looked like a blond boy looking at a white pole . . .
Top still looks like a family to me! *okay, maybe a family of Bowie dogs*
Head aches from squinting! Need to wander away, find my glasses and and pour some wine . . .

My bed is calling, it is past 1am here. Good night.

Who does Adam always mention when he talks about faves, influences? I think Freddie makes sense . . . could it be a Queen album? Or, if it's a "wall of divas," Britney?
