Wikipedia says there was an original cover featuring more of the dog: "The cover art features Bowie as a striking half-man, half-dog grotesque painted by Belgian artist Guy Peellaert. It was controversial as the full painting clearly showed the hybrid’s genitalia. Very few copies of this original cover made their way into circulation at the time of the album's release. According to the record-collector publication Goldmine price guides, these albums have been among the most expensive record collectibles of all time, as high as thousands of US dollars for a single copy. The genitalia were quickly airbrushed out for the 1974 LP’s gatefold sleeve, although the original artwork (and another rejected cover featuring Bowie in a sombrero cordobés holding onto a ravenous dog, an image captured by Terry O'Neill[9]) was included in subsequent Rykodisc/EMI re-issues." claire.nu/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/david_bowie_-_diamond_dogs-front.jpg(I could see how the Lambert boys might have found that creepy.) If it's one of the originals or a copy of that, would it fit the blobs better? Don't think it's this, but in case anyone is interested, I believe this is the uncensored DD cover: As for the third framed album, in the absence of more detail I still vote for DD ;D. We know how much he loves that cover I just think it would make the wall of honor! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.) Adam on DD cover to ABCnews: David Bowie, 'Diamond Dogs'
"Bowie's been a huge influence on me. ... I remember early on, my dad pulling out the 'Diamond Dogs' album, and the cover alone just grabbed my attention. I think I was probably around 12. And he was, you know, laying, it's like a painting of him kind of laying, half-dog, half-man. It was just the weirdest thing I had ever seen. I was fascinated by it."
more: abcnews.go.com/Nightline/Playlist/adam-lambert-favorite-albums/story?id=10076499#.Ttbh_fHBoy4(lol the first image of the cover I posted was HUGGGGEEEEE and then when i previewed my post all i could see was controversial doggy genitalia!! . Quickly resized pic. PHEW!)

OT, but I know there are a lot of RHPS fans here...
This is an amazing find - a 1975 interview with Tim Curry, discussing Rocky Horror on stage and screen. Awesome stuff!

blogs.sun-sentinel.com/tv/2011/11/sobering-reality-for-melanie-best-often-doesnt-win.htmlSobering reality for Melanie: best often doesn’t winby: Tom Jicha November 30th, 2011 | 7:30 AM “The X Factor” passes the halfway point of the finals Wednesday as the remaining seven will be trimmed to five this week. Sunrise’s Melanie Amaro still seems to be the strongest singer but here are five reasons why she should be concerned: Clay Aiken, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, Adam Lambert and Pia Toscano. All are tremendous talents, arguably superior to those who won their seasons on “American Idol”–the show closest to “The X Factor.” None won the title.

Yes, the other two are certainly Madonna and MJ covers. Bridget, this makes sense. The similarities in hue, color-saturation, composition, etc. were so close, but it looked like it was cropped differently than the standard cover that was showing. If the cropping was taken from the original, fold-out cover and moved left, it could be it. I just googled the original cover but there is still no green like that pic. There is clearly some large green blob in this pic....I don't know why I even care lol I must be HELLA BORED. Maybe it's you on the cover??

It's Diamond Dogs. I pulled the orig from the tweet into my photoshop too. Since it's not sharp to begin with the more photoshop tries to line things up the more skewed it gets. All the parts are in the right place with a little less fixing.

Some were wondering if Sasha danced on X Factor tonight. From her tweet, a few hours ago, I would say "No." Sounds like she may have some injuries from the car accident. SashaMallorySasha Mallory Gorgeous in LA right now. Just took a core power yoga class. Hopefully I'll be back dancing really soon. Thankful for absolutely everything
