ADAM LAMBERT ANNOUNCES NEW CHARITY TO AID PTSD-CHALLENGED FANS

Openly gay Grammy-nominated American Idol runner-up singer songwriter Adam Lambert has announced a new initiative aimed at aiding thousands of fans now suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a result of the success of his triple-platinum selling album Trespassing and sold-out world tour.



Data from the Centers for Disease Control estimates that of the 625,800+ Glamberts currently under treatment in the U.S. health care system, more than 313,000 are suffering from PTSD, often compounding their ability to recover from nerve damage and internal injuries caused by the singer's vocals and stage presence. The openly gay Grammy nominated wailer announced that he would create the Trespassing Foundation to fund continuing treatment for hospitalized and incarcerated Glamberts.

"I know my amaaaazing fans will bankrupt themselves to help this important cause," Mr. Lambert announced while sporting a sky-high mohawk and furry sunglasses. "I asked them to raise 9 million dollars by next Tuesday and they have already contributed 40 million dollars. I'm so humbled."

Lambert said the money would fund counseling for those made homeless and unable to find jobs by Glambert Induced PTSD, and legal defense for those accused of criminal activity. The flamboyant and openly gay singer, whose male-on-male TV kiss sparked the largest mass panic since Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds" in 1938, says, "Most of my fans had no criminal records before listening to Trespassing. A lot of them never had issues before they heard my music. I'm flattered that now they have these issues. I love my fans! They're damaged! But as honored as I am, I feel I have an extra special obligation to really reach out and try to make their lives different."



Mr. Lambert also said the foundation would pay for prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation for those injured by blasts from Trespassing, and lobby for the legalization of medical marijuana to alleviate the suffering of his fans and their loved ones.

There is no indication the demand will slow down. Wearing a black form-fitting latex suit with bell bottom pants, and a hat he described as "Farmer Brown Meets Mothra Meets Priscilla Queen of the Desert," the openly gay eyeliner-wearing charity-minded glam rocker with a heart of gold said he will be entering the studio in 2013 to record his third album, which he promised would induce traumatic brain injury in his fans.

"I hate to say anything else about it yet because it'll change," Glambert confided, "but right now I'm in a place where I'm working the whole 'robot cowboys in disguise' theme. It'll be techno meets classical with classic soul atmospherics, Finnish avante-garde vaudeville mixed with an urban romantic flair and experimental Tantric word poetry, all set to a crazy dance beat but totally real and from the heart. It'll be worth the wait, I promise!"



The openly gay Trespassing star's friends seem to agree, with Twitter heating up with comments such as:

The legions upon legions of industry personnel and friends of the openly gay singer who have already heard the completed music, due out in three months/six months/three years, have urged hospitals to prepare for massive casualties when the album is released, including broken bones, fractured skulls, and bodies pierced by glass, wood, and stones. The Trespassing Foundation will help pay for training for emergency room personnel to recognize early symptoms of Glambert Induced PTSD, including hypervigilance, Internet addiction, bed wetting, and screen licking.

People have heard it, and judging from what ROLLING STONE and others who have heard the project, it's going to be some amazing music!

Called "club ready" and "disco inspired," the music promises to be amazing, and has ripped inspiration from the LADY GAGA and KATY PERRY playbooks, with some of the best producers in music working on the project!

And, now that LAMBERT is on the RCA label imprint, the new home of the former ZOMBA and JIVE artists, the promotions team headed by "King" Joe Riccitelli, the "Don" of all things pop music promotion, Lambert's promotional push to radio - and other media - promises to be nothing short of overwhelming as his music goes for US radio airplay!

Riccitelli has been the mastermind behind many pop music promotions successes, including the careers of Britney Spears, NSYNC, Justin Timberlake, the Backstreet Boys and more. More recently, he's been instrumental in the airplay careers of R. KELLY, Chris Brown, and other artists which were part of what was called JIVE 2.0. Jive merged into a larger RCA Music Group this year, following the realignment of the labels, which are under the SONY music umbrella.

Don Coddington, a promotions executive with Interscope Records, has nothing to do with this story.

The NEW cd - called TRESSPASSING - should be out soon!

UPDATE: Can't give specifics yet, but Adam fans won't have to wait too much longer to hear some stuff! Can't say more... yet!
