He doesn't mince words.. Adam may not be the only one disappointed. I don't blame him for being upset - "Blinding Lights" was an enormous hit, and his album was a big critical and commercial success. It's absurd that he was shut out. But it's kind of ironic in that he's been nominated for 10 Grammys, and won 3.

I'm glad he spoke out, too. And I'd like to think that he spoke out not just for himself not getting a nom, but for the whole process in general, which seems pretty skewed in many ways. Some artists may say, as Adam has, that they don't care about awards that much and that they just want to put out good music. All that being true, there is GREAT POWER in getting Grammy noms and wins. HUGE CAREER BOOSTS. And so far, after more than ten years of putting out stellar music with a stellar voice, Adam has only one nom. Not one win. Just one nom. Boggles the mind.
