Guys, just occurred to me, but in a way a December release of some sort (even if it's just pre-official-release performances, play, buzz) makes total sense for this single, given its opening line (assuming, and it is a big assumption, that that line has stayed the same): "Cold as ice, and more bitter than a December winter night..." DJs (and music biz peeps in general) are literalists who like to keep things simple and understandeable--these sorts of alignments in meaning make them feel like all is right with their world. 'Tis the christmas music season, but in some unlikely way this song might mix in with that just fine! Maybe this has something to do with their waiting for the single-release until now? (or maybe i'm just, you know, full of it.) I love your post! Gave me goosebumps. ;D That's the idea! I can just picture Adam standing alone on a stage in NYC's Times Square on a frigid night on Dec. 31st, crowd hugging themselves to stay warm, and the first notes of the new single start to spill out of him over the masses... "COLD as ICE, and more bitter than a DECEMBER WINTER NIGHT..." ...and a huge cheer rises up out of the crowd.... ;D ;D ;D (Okay, now I really AM full of it... :
