• IF next week announces debut date and it IS in December, my guess is Dec. 12. It can go to radio before freeze, which will allow it to be virtually unencumbered on CHR by anything else. CHR – at least in L.A. – does NOT play Christmas music; KIIS has a sister AC station that does that from before Thanksgiving until 12/26.

I agree: if the single indeed drops this month night of the 12th US would be the start of the day Tues the 13th international so that goes with the Tuesday release (US) I was thinking about.
Lifetraveler: I think the UK article is moved up because something has changed with the single release. And if they didn't move the article up then the article would be irrelevant and trash - and I can't imagine they would want to trash a good article for a rising star. I speculate the article talks about the single release/launch and is only valid if printed before the single is out - therefore the 11th for that article makes perfect sense given what we are finding out today.

Unfortunately English isn't my mother tongue and that's why I sometimes make mistakes. But I hope you'll understand me. I looove this place and all of you seem to be so kind-hearted people. And obviously you are as devoted to Adam as me which is absolutely great :D I've been lurking here for about half a year and after so many beautiful experiences I've finally decided to sign in. I'm sure I'll enjoy this forum and we'll get along very well Have a nice weekend, friends Bye

OT Question .... Does anyone remember a TV commercial from about 10 years ago with a single cello playing amid the ruins of the symphony hall? I think it was in Sarajevo and was probably based on the story of the Cellist of Sarajevo - but it was a commercial for something. I think the imagery somehow tied in to the idea of perseverance, rebuilding, something like that? If you do remember it, do you have any idea what it was selling? (This is for a school project for my son - his teacher has asked a group of 7th graders to write about a "life changing event" in their own lives. Needless to say, a suburban, middle-class kid with no major trama in his life doesn't have much to write about! However, he was totally entranced with the cello in that commerical when he was a toddler and that is when he started asking to learn to play an instrument. We eventually gave in when he was 5 and he has been playing Fiddle/Violin since then. I'm doubting this is really what the teacher is looking for, but it is the best we've come up with!) OT answer Could it be something like this... This is for audio book, but maybe it was something similar ten years ago. aurora - Thanks! I'm pretty sure the commercial was referencing this story, but this isn't it. A big chunk of the time was just the single cello playing in the ruins and then a voiceover. I'm pretty sure it talked about perseverance or rebuilding or something like that. I wish I could remember the product they were selling! ETA: Shadow - I'm afraid not ... this is going to drive me crazy! I guess I'll keep looking later - I have to go to dress rehearsal from my choir now. Yet another Messiah perfomance tomorrow. I've lost track of how many times I've sung it!
