OT. This video suddenly going around twitter last night, very sad. Uploaded by BlahBlahBlah2145 on Aug 10, 2011 IM NOT GOING TO KILL MYSELF. I JUST NEED TO GET THIS OUT HERE. I think this is from last year.. and there is now a follow up to it.. from this young man.. posted recently (I saw Dec 3) Saw the second vid OF HIM SMILING IN FRONT OF A CHRISTMAS TREE on twitter and now can't find it again.. started to watch got side tracked and listen to it while it played.. so he is OK.. NoAngel.. so spot on this morning.. you are a wonder do you know that.. you read our minds and know exactly what we are all experiencing this holiday season.. I am laughing as I look at my little "table top" tree with pre lite fold out branches..I put 2 elves on the porch and some fake poinsettias around..and viola.. we are decorated.... Took about 30 mins tops and yes everyone loves gift cards ..trufax. |

NoAngel - yet another brilliant essay!!!  Have yet to do any Xmas decorating, but need to put up this cute mini snow-globe decoration given to me by a fellow GlitterTribean :  It is a bit hard to see, but says "Merry Christmas Adam" I have just one indoor plant, and it's a miracle that I haven't killed it yet, so nowhere to throw Xmas lights!!! ;D Will probably get around to putting up tree etc tonight..... |

lol I think spreckles is totally joking, the person in black in the background of the pic is one of the people who wears a little hat and passes out samples to taste. You can pack on the calories just wandering around Costco as Sauli notes. Going down the electronic music rabbit hole I've been getting sucked into Ishkur's guide. I probably listen to more electronic music than any other genre but know almost nothing about it. This interactive guide has a few pitfalls (people debate his categories and why he has so many, he clearly has biases, and it hasn't been updated since 2005) but it's hilarious (read what he says about New Age, lol) and very interesting at showing the relationships between different subgenres and the evolution of the music. I can lose hours in it. Also the song samples are really useful since they are often some of the best known examples of each sub genre. techno.org/electronic-music-guide/ |
