wait.....are they saying that the single is going to be released in one day? As in tomorrow? Or are they saying they'll premier it on the radio one day before Global Release. must be the latter, right? ??? In one day - I wonder if it's Friday the 16th or Monday the 19th before Christmas |

I don't think it's either one, they are saying that the single will be premiered all on the same day in different locations, but the official radio release (which could happen weeks later, who knows) might be different in different countries. People were theorizing that this is because the Russian Orthodox Xmas break is later so the freeze is at a different time then other countries. This all gets very confusing because it seems like there are lots of ways to define "release" a. The first time we get to hear the song, maybe premiered on Seacrest or something, or online, or in a live performance. b. the adds date for officially sending the song to radio. This would presumably be later. c. the date that the single is available for purchase from itunes/amazon in various countries. d. the date that the single is available for purchase as a hard copy CD (UK and Germany only as far as I know?) So far what I've read suggests that a. may be simultaneous worldwide and before Xmas, but we don't know about b, c, d. Someone (but it might be Glamazon) suggested that b would be after the New Year. Please correct me/explain more though, I'm just trying to get it straight in my own mind and am pretty in the dark about how all this works. |
