koshka, if radio plays the crap out of it, the listeners will like it! Why you ask? Because they actually don't know what they like, but they do like what they know! And if they hear it 24 times a day, they will think they like it! ;D

Maybe I am in the minority, but I just don't think that XFactor US is a great gig to launch. As part of promo, maybe, but I'm hoping for more than this. Me too, secretly hoping that he doesn't start promo out on a singing competition show. Yes I know any exposure is good, but aren't we I wanting him to continue to move past the reality show thing that has trailed him around for so long? The thing is, he NEEDS TV support for a full-out blitz. And there just aren't a lot of options in mid-to-late December. Almost everything will be on hiatus. ALL the major stars to the competition shows, so no point turning up his nose with those. They garner ratings and hype. XF has less than HALF of AI's ratings, but it sill averages the same as the AMAs every week. We had this discussion on Twitter this morning. Though XF is only averaging about 10.5 million viewers a week, the finale should definitely be more. Especially since the finale is taking place so late in December. Most all other shows will have already gone into hiatus/reruns by Dec. 22, so there will be less competition. Additionally, FOX knows how to pimp the hell out of things and they will have all the NFL games going on Sunday. They will promote like crazy to that audience. He cannot possibly break his association with competition shows. Gaga, Beyonce, RiRi, Katy, Bruno ... EVERYONE does them.

ETA: Isn't the Jingle Balls coming up soon. Any chance Adam will make a guest appearance there and preview the song live. Gaga premiered her new song "live" at EMA, so if Adam has put a band together in his spare time (hahaha, spare time?) then... and if it is coming up soon he would need to be heading to NY and would explain why he is not at the Trevor Project event??? Speculation here... ETA2: Sounds like Jingle Balls is on Wednesday looking at tweets...

I wish I had the skills to grab that video. I've tried different programs, but basically I can only copy YTs. Fail!Does anyone know of a download for AmericanIdol in 60 Seconds ? Basically Jim's video is a regular 60 sec recap and an extra 60 sec of Jim doing a happy dance out of his office, out of the building, down the street to Times Square and then onto the bleachers somewhere (Yankee Stadium?). Honey, NEVER EVER apologize for what you perceive to be a lack of skills. You totally leave me in the dust when it comes to computer stuff. Canadians are very used to getting that "NOT AVAILABLE" message. I mean, we even get scorned sometimes by youtube!!!

But I'll certainly watch if Adam's on it. They've already announced Leona Lewis will be on both the U.S. and UK XF finales. (RCA is pushing her hard with these, I guess.) Congrats!! BamaFan!!! BCS Championship!!!

adamfanem, IMO, no way Adam would appear at a Jingle Ball without being announced. I don't think they would be a great way to premiere a song anyway.
