ADVOCATEAdam Lambert to Host Star-Studded Stonewall Day EventsThe out artist is throwing a charitable party where members of the B iden, Obama, and Clinton families are expected to take part.
Out pop star Adam Lambert, along with his Feel Something Foundation, is teaming up with the nonprofit organization Pride Live to host a celebration of the fourth annual Stonewall Day. Scheduled for June 6, the event will bring together a top-notch lineup of artists and politicians — including President B iden and the First Lady — to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community’s resilience, as well as push for action and raise money for queer causes.
Lambert launched the nonprofit FSF in early 2019 “to ensure support is given to the myriad of issues that continue to disproportionately affect the LGBTQ+ community.” FSF supports organizations and charities that fight for the rights of all members of the community and have missions “directly focused on impacting the LGBTQ+ community in areas of Education and the Arts, Homelessness, Suicide Prevention, and Mental Health.”
