Aww I wish I could join ya'll in rose colored world, but I reside more in the realism world, where the glass is neither half empty of half full. Unless I am pms-ing...then the glass just gets thrown at the wall. Lol hey, I'm not judging cuz I've been there! |

It's the roller coaster effect guys. All the facts point to a great first single and we've had lots of good stuff to squee over. I am a true believer. It's just that we build ourselves up so much and it's kind of the "are we there yet" sydrome, even though you know you're on the way to fucking Disneyland. So- I'll just breathe and recover in a nano second.  |

After all this “the song will drop in tomorrow/this week/next week/next month/next year/maybe 2020” is really making me feel like I’ve run a double marathon or something. :  Oh why, Adam, can’t you just give us some accurate news for a change? while I still have a sensible thought or two left in my head... You're right, NoAngel, and to fess up, my angst is more of a selfish nature ( coughneverahugeWWFMfan cough, coughdidn'tlovethedemo cough, coughBrunoMars  cough). But why should I inflict that on you guys? Or, for that matter, project that onto Adam's career? I totally see that what's most important is that he has a successful radio single, which can buy him all the leeway to experiment that he wants. I'll stick my head back in my hole now where LindaG23 and I can grumblegrumble at each other in the dark.  I'll bring an LED candle so the oxygen doesn't sucked out of the hole too fast. Awww, see, this is what they mean when they say sharing is caring  . Valuable lesson: always share ostrich holes with engineers.  *just to be clear, I have every confidence in the success of the music, and am extremely excited about the album and all the chatter. But that's partly because of the ways in which the chatter has evolved in exciting directions over the last few months, and it's just a hunch but I feel like Adam's excitement about it all has also evolved over the last few months, and that excitement has been all about funk and dance and pharrell and nile rodgers and electronic rhythm and i guess I'm just impatient to get to that bit... maybe BTIKM is connected to all that, but this latest round of news makes it seem a little less in that vein, though. That's okay though. I won't burden TPTB with my ~obvious radio expertise~  . If you see two ostrich-ass shakin' in the air that'll be me and LindaG23 blastin some electro-funk down in our hole ;D. |

Hey guys, does anyone remember when Adam's 1st single premiered? Didn't he do a live phone call with Ryan Seacrest on his morning show in LA where he introduced the single & they played it for the 1st time?? Hey gingerpf, it's been a while ... let's see .... Adam News & Info on Mar 17, 2011, 10:19pm to be exact. Remember Gridlock. As if anyone could forget. LOL. And yes to your question. Hey it's nice to know the memory cells in my brain are still working! Sooooo, has anyone pumped Seacrest for any info??? |

Ok I don't get it. I don't even care if Glamazon is a troll (which points to yes at this point) and I don't even care if Toby likes it...what bothers me is the line where they need to decide where it should live on stations across the country. WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN?!?! Adam wants to be a POP star. Not an HAC star and this worries me that HAC is what they are thinking for this single. NGL, I am gonna love having new music but I will be very pissed if they stamp him with the HAC label right off the bat. He needs to be all over CHR stations and finally crack KIIS and shit and I am worried this single ain't gonna do it unless it smashes like Bruno Mars' songs and/or has a r&b/urban edge to it... IDK. This worries me ngl and I don't angst that much. And can't say the title? I am soo confused lol. The other peeps who heard it said there was only one mid tempo and unless BTIKM was changed like the maybe troll said to an uptempo, then the midtempo song we are gonna get is a totally diff song, one possibly changed at last minute. Yay tho for the Queen stuff! I agree with this post of chunkey's from way back on p. 16. Confused as all get out about TK's comments and ESPECIALLY the part about "we'll have to see where it fits"! On the positive side I vehemently agree with her last sentence. Yay!!!  I wish I could say I was wrong about Glamazon being a troll. But I will refrain from gloating cause I don't feel much like gloating right now. |
