 Agreed Catzmadam!  We would have the country covered for Atop visitors to our shores. We would have a great AFL soundtrack for their stay too! Great to hear you had fun at the tribe gathering at the weekend and as the HFF! OMG that is one huge poster/bilboard! Would soo love to make a trip and meet fans from 'up north' in Auckland and do some serious flailing sometime! Waiting, waiting, waiting, going crazy with anticipation for the new single!  |

For those not being able to watch the jim cant...(the MTV guy) video, which has been posted in yesterdays thread, I found it on youtube and it is really hilarious ;D

Geez now it's Sony Africa ... from Moscow to Africa.... How about Sony Mongolia , have they tweeted yet ? Sigh... I think I will accept that job in Mongolia and live in a hut with Bactrian camels where my blackberry wont work so my sanity has a chance to survive .... it's just one single music .....first time I have heard that even the press release needs a press release before it's press released.....
It's Coming... but I can't get on the train..... So , do I have to look for station 9 and No Quarters...

I so need this laugh today! I remember very clearly the joy felt when Gokey was eliminated. Many of us had been splitting votes in order to try and get rid of him. I actually remember an online conversation where we acknowledged that if Kris was vs. Adam in the finale then Kris would win and how we would all be OK with that. The prospect of an Adam/Gokey finale was just too frightening of an idea- we were almost OK with Adam coming in 2nd but losing to the horror that was GOKEY was flat unacceptable. Anything but Gokey, LOL. I would LOVE for the season long voting totals to be released- I don't care if I am 100 years old, I will still want to know how things really shook out in voting totals. As far as Adam being huffed on Top 5 results night, I will never not think that was a PTB manipulation. WTF is a "bottom 3" when there are only 5 people left? Pure drama at Adam's expense IMO. |

This and all of this twice over. I knew as soon as Kris was safe that this sealed a 2nd place for Adam. Not for a moment did i think that NAL would set the music industry on fire. Thats ok. I think everything ended as it should have for all three involved.  I have zero misgivings... including the AMAs. Unfortunate in terms of sales and attention, but fortuitous in an early and important lesson. Adam no longer needed to feel as though he had to make everyone happy. His core fans hung on and the pearl clutchers that would eventually leave.. left quicker. IMO gave him the permission to carry on as he wanted. Whatever album #2 he has in store for us might have been created to cater to a much more diverse audience. |

Totally agree on the "bottom 3"! But as we discussed to death - I am sure he was NOT in a bottom 2 and THAT AND THE "CHOOSE THE GROUP" was the travesty the producers came up with! My only thought in the hindsight is that it might've been a wake up call to those who did split voting or did not vote at all. The "Feeling Good" was definitely one of highlights of the whole season (well, which performance was not, right?) (But I still can't watch the finale bit..even though I am 1000% convinced that career wise the 2 nd place was better than the win). Have we heard from @sonyantarctica yet? They might've gotten it earlier due to weather conditions and not telling us  |

I don't know if its just me, but does it seem as if each Sony label is tweeting out a new tid bit of info a day? I think it was first SonyAus, then SonyCan, then Russia, now Africa. I wondrous what new country and info we get tomorrow.
