I remember very clearly the joy felt when Gokey was eliminated. Many of us had been splitting votes in order to try and get rid of him. I actually remember an online conversation where we acknowledged that if Kris was vs. Adam in the finale then Kris would win and how we would all be OK with that. The prospect of an Adam/Gokey finale was just too frightening of an idea- we were almost OK with Adam coming in 2nd but losing to the horror that was GOKEY was flat unacceptable. Anything but Gokey, LOL. I would LOVE for the season long voting totals to be released- I don't care if I am 100 years old, I will still want to know how things really shook out in voting totals. As far as Adam being huffed on Top 5 results night, I will never not think that was a PTB manipulation. WTF is a "bottom 3" when there are only 5 people left? Pure drama at Adam's expense IMO. This and all of this twice over. I knew as soon as Kris was safe that this sealed a 2nd place for Adam. Not for a moment did i think that NAL would set the music industry on fire. Thats ok. I think everything ended as it should have for all three involved.  I have zero misgivings... including the AMAs. Unfortunate in terms of sales and attention, but fortuitous in an early and important lesson. Adam no longer needed to feel as though he had to make everyone happy. His core fans hung on and the pearl clutchers that would eventually leave.. left quicker. IMO gave him the permission to carry on as he wanted. Whatever album #2 he has in store for us might have been created to cater to a much more diverse audience. I clearly remember all these emotions. The "on no" when Kris's name was announced, but within seconds the realization that Adam didn't need the title and Kris did. I like Kris, didn't vote for him, didn't buy his CD, but never minded him getting a shot. Gokey winning I would have taken as a personal affront. After the AMAs, those who wanted a generic Adam dropped off the grid, but those of us who stayed have been rewarded ten thousand-fold. It still makes me laugh that with every gate or "he didn't just do that" moment, we angst or flail or wonder what the hell he was thinking, then settle back and know that Adam will, indeed, do what he wants and we will accept it, whether it is dancers, hair, or boyfriend. Fun, fun, fun - and now it is set to move to another level and we will know that we had just a teeny, tiny part of it. |

LOL...ok the fandom needs new music now !     I really do feel sorry for people who don't stan Adam...this fandom is HILARIOUS! I laughted so hard when I saw this I fell off my chair!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for posting!!!!!!! |

I so need this single nooooooowwwwwwww!!!! I can't even concentrate on my work ugh. So. I know people have said the single does not drop this Friday and so people were speculating it might be next week, but I've seen no indication why the single might not drop *earlier* than this Friday. If the press release comes out today, and the single drops three days after the press release, then single should drop this Thursday. This would also fit what Toby Knapp said last week - "ask me late next week" - and the fact that the single will not drop on Friday. So this Thursday it is. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. If you think otherwise I dontwannalisten.  |

Whatever Adam Tour 2.0 brings, the colors in the Glamnation Tour were just stunning. I will never get tired of these photos and I see something new and compelling at every viewing. Here, the way his jet black hair reflects the vivid acid colors. Oh my. |

Altho, it's also possible that the press release get released tomorrow, and the single drops on Friday (much more common day for single releases than Thu) - but why the hell would they send the press release to the radio stations a DAY in advance??? Who does that???? And what about people saying not Friday??
OMG, I am just so spent. I seriously want this whole thing to be over. This is why twitter is the devil. In the good ole days the single would have dropped with no warning and we would have been like "huh? what? yay!"
