Finlandia was used by the Finnish Ice Dancing champions (Susanna Rahkamo and Petri Kokko)a number of years ago for their competition long program (long-time ice skating fan here). It was lovely, as I remember--and I think it was during an Olympic year, but I would have to look it up. I saw them in person once, and the male dancer had the same blue eyes as Sauli.

Yeah seriously......THIS week!!!!???????? I'm not getting my hopes up, more than likely what they announced is that the press release is coming this week so we can read some info we already know then hear it in the next week or two :-/ |

One of the wonderful off shoots of following Adam is getting to know Finland, the fans and customs. I feel a special connection to this country I once knew so little about.

Cassie, 94.1 FM in ATL played WWFM and IIHY regularly and still does occasionally.
Chunkey, at least you can now view the world through pink colored eyes! Sorry bad joke. Seriously though, hope you are using the right anti-infectives to treat it and that it gets better soon.

Adam sure loves guys who wear tank tops...guess 'cause he likes them himself too!
The Cherry pic of Sauli ... is one... very well captured photo. Sauli's hair is masterfully carved ...smouldering eyes....the lighting is incredible.

I liked them  . They were different, creative and with courage risking the boundaries. They got married later on, after they were finished with skating. He's spent a couple of years in USA now - he is one of Google's Global directors, changing to Germany now. |
