Uh wuuut??? www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry/touring/adam-lambert-in-talks-to-join-authorized-1005623452.story(I think they're extrapolating from Roger's comments yesterday, but ??? ??? And that headline is straight-up wrong, because he would NOT be with the tribute band; he would be with Roger and Brian) Adam Lambert in Talks to Join Authorized Queen Tribute Tour December 06, 2011 By Phil Gallo, Los Angeles While Queen drummer Roger Taylor is at the finish line in creating a band-authorized Queen tribute band, he and his bandmates have begun discussions with Adam Lambert to front the band in concert. The former "American Idol" star sang with Taylor, guitarist Brian May and [red]bassist John Deacon[/red] at the MTV Europe Awards on Nov. 6, performing "The Show Must Go On" and "We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions." "He has grown into a really great performer with an astonishing voice with a range that's great," Taylor told Billboard.biz in Los Angeles while finalizing the band for a Queen Extravaganza tour. " We would like to work with him again. There's nothing signed just yet but we're talking about live dates. It could be very exciting." Side eyeing this whole thing, when it states that John was on stage with them at the EMAs. Exactly! Even I know that John Deacon was not there,,, and believe me - I know next to nothing about Queen.... so the whole thing is badly written. The intern that wrote this just assumed that the "tribute" band IS THE QUEEN BAND - which we all know it is NOT! ok, relax and breath... OT: my son just called that he will be on his college radio as a commentator for the basketball team ...good thing I have the experience with all things radio on my PC - so I have the player ready to go! THANK YOU ADAM!

I just love Adam being obsessive and jealous. He says he's working on that, but I don't think there is very much to do about it. You are what you are, but it helps a lot if you are conscious of it. And I'm sure Sauli will be OK with that. Sauli should also learn to smile little less in certain situations. People may misunderstand it, because they are not used to seeing someone smile all the time. : Ya, they are. In California we walk around like fools, smiling all the time and telling everyone to "have a nice day!" ;D

Oh I see that the international game of telephone continues and now Adam is fronting a tribute band, LOL. I guess Era 2 will have the same "Are you fronting Queen" questions as Era 1 did. I'm okay with that if we can drop the "how did you feel meeting Madonna?" and "what's your fav brand of eyeliner" questions. Also [begging here] can we leave the delusional ravings of certain "fans" out in the wilds of Twitter? I see nothing newsworthy about the idiocy that some people create in their heads and it just makes me sad. :-/

www.fleckingrecords.co.uk/2011/12/top-ten-tv-moments-of-2011.htmlTop Ten TV Moments of 2011Posted 6th December, 2011 by Frankie Genchi The year is coming to an end which means it’s time to stop, look back and reflect on important things. Important things like what was good on TV. It turns out 2011 was a pretty good year on the small screen. We laughed, we cried, we swooned, we cringed, we felt things we didn’t know we could feel. From our favourite drama series to reality TV shows, we’ve been pretty much glued to our screens this year, so allow us to take you through the Flecking Records Top 10 TV Moments of 2011! 5. MTV EMAs – Adam Lambert rocks us!Something happened at the MTV European Music Awards. Adam Lambert performed with legendary rock band Queen! We were so pleased to see the lovely Mr Lambert join Brian May and Roger Taylor on stage to perform a medley of Queen hits. Freddie Mercury’s shoes are pretty gigantic shoes to fill, so it must have taken huge balls to sing his songs – that’s tough enough. What’s even tougher, is doing classic hits like “The Show Must Go On”, “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions” justice – we think Adam absolutely nailed it.
