Ehm I have mixed feelings about this Queen thing. Don't get me wrong, I love MTV Europe Awards performance but I don't want for Adam to be known as "This guy who sing with Queen". I see real danger here. Me too. Just hope he can make his own decision and not push by others into this even though I like their collaboration. A couple live dates is fine but not too many . I want to see him establish his own music but not as a cover singer. Maybe Adam can even sing a few of his new music to promote his new Album there. ETA: I think the live dates are for whole concert, not just a couple songs. Maybe I am wrong.

I have no worries at all about Adam working with Queen again. None. He has new music coming out and a few, possibly high profile, gigs with Queen, as their special guest, can only be a great thing, imo. Just like the EMA performance, it may very well get people talking and interested enough to check out his music. I think the stars are aligning perfectly for Adam this era. I really do!

Oh what the hell who wants to work I did it now. Greek article www.patrinorama.com/v2012/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=147531&catid=79:music&Itemid=13Translation : Queen and Adam Lambert together? And where you think you have seen everything and there's nothing more cool than Lady Gaga, something new comes along and shakes your previously calm waters. We¢re talking about Adam Lambert, known from American Idol , who after a live appearance on stage with the legendary Queen at the MTV Europe Awards ,discusses an upcoming tour in partnership planned by the band. His arrangement of ''The show must go on''and''We will rock you / We are the champions'' that they made together at the international awards, seems to have been the beginning of a lot if anything special cooperation! So let us get a little taste of what will follow, if both parts agree. They also have a YT video from the EMA's awards taken from a fan with TSMGO.

It's the media using the word "tour" as regards Queen when we all know they are thinking about a series of one off performances at most. At this point in their lives their idea of a "tour" is probably one show a week for three weeks. They each have their hands in 100 other projects and interests.
I am not worried at all- quite the opposite in fact. I may have to get a passport!

Translated the 2 portuguese articles, have to say the second one is VERY misleading : 1st one: www.myway.pt/#/noticia/roger_taylor_quer_que_os_queen_voltem_a_tocar_com_adam_lambert_6017.aspxRoger Taylor wants Queen to play with Adam Lambert againQueen drummer Roger Taylor, spoke again about the possibility of Queen working with Adam Lambert. The legendary band and the singer played together for the first time at the American Idol finale in 2009, playing "We Are The Champions". Since then, innumerous rumours emerged about de possibility of Adam (temporarily or permanently) joining Queen, since his vocal range is similar to that of Freddie Mercury. Recently, Adam sang with Queen again at the MTV EMAs ceremony, in Ireland, in November; They played a medley of some of the band's hits: "The Show Must Go On", "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions". Roger Taylor has been creating a Queen tribute band and a respective tour, the Queen Extravaganza Tour. During the preparations, the drummer talked about Adam Lambert to Billboard: "He has grown into a really great performer with an astonishing voice with a range that's great. We would like to work with him again. There's nothing signed just yet but we're talking about live dates. It could be very exciting." Then they have a link to the AI "We are the Champions" performance. Here's the second article: discodigital.sapo.pt/news.asp?id_news=43860Adam Lambert is an option for Queen vocalistQueen are in talks with Adam Lambert so that he becomes the band's vocalist on tour. The news were revealed by Roger Taylor to Billboard. "He has grown into a really great performer with an astonishing voice with a range that's great," he explained. The musician garantees that Queen "would like to work with him again". Lambert would then become the substitute of Paul Rodgers on stage. "It could be very exciting" he says . About the chance of having Lady Gaga, that option seems to have been put aside since the eccentric singer has a long tour planned for 2012/2013.
