Love all the throwback videos! Adam was definitely a "come out of nowhere" performer. He worked hard for years before Idol. I love seeing him in the dance/chorus of Wicked. He is so recognizable even with all the elaborate costuming. That's Adam, all right!
Fun to see his name on that quiz show. He has even come up once or twice on Jeopardy.
Always get a kick of out of his loopy Crazy number. Pure Adam!

Whoever brought over that fab vid of Adam singing "Come To Me, Bend To Me", I thank you soooo much! I could pull it up from YouTube myself, but seems as if I never think about doing that! It's one that truly shows how magnificent his voice is. I wish, wish he would record that. Oh well, thanks for the trip down memory lane. I didn't get the " game show" thing. 😖

The Upright Cabaret NYE 2009 gig --included many songs. One was posted yesterday because of the billion views for What's Up by Linda Perry who wrote Loaded Smile (FYE album). Adam's different version performed in his Jan 9 concert, made me actually appreciate the song.
Anyway ---more songs from the NYE concert. the unique character of his voice ta night ("lispy" has already been hashed out many times before...but could be an insight for those who are newer to Adam fandom).

Songs sung at the Upright Cafe ---different dates and occasions. some are the same songs he performed at the NYE gig.
Adam Lambert performs 'Dust in the Wind' on Upright Cabaret's Hollywood Nights Encore performance on Monday, Sept 24th, 2007. Joining Adam on the piano is special guest Music Director Bryan Perri.
Next song---interesting notes:
"Life upon the Wicked stage is not easy. Mr. Lambert (currently the Fiyero stand-by in the LA company of Wicked) was forced to take time off after an injury. The road to recovery fortunately ended up at the Viceroy in February of 2008. Adam debuted his version of this Gnarls Barkley hit for two sold out crowds, which included his mother."
If I remember correctly Adam had a hernia operation.

Well, this throwback isn’t quite that far, but it’s one of my favourite ones. Adam and Queen performing „Save me“ for the first time in Newcastle 2015. A huge surprise and so beautiful! youtu.be/CeHICXLF45s

And 2 singers, who both had been 38 years old at the time of their performance.

I love Adam's version of Dust in the Wind. There are a few spots, :28 is one of them, where the pitch is so spot on (even with the crappy sound on the recording), that I actually get goose bumps every time I hear it. I've always enjoyed the song anyway, but Adam takes it to another level, IMO.
Nightowl, Save Me was a favorite of mine also.

Nice observation, nightowl! Both 38 years old. Seems like they both were (are) at their peak. Although Adam's peak is pretty on-going. LOL. Love this synched duet of BoRap. AMAZING!
All the throwbacks today are a real relaxing gift to me. Been shoveling and snow-blowing all morning. Finally able to get the car out for a few errands.
