In re the fanfic: You don't have to believe in the reality of a relationship between real people or even hope for a real relationship to write or enjoy fanfic about a couple. For many readers, when real people are in a fanfic, they serve the function of characters in a story. As time has gone on moreover, most of the Kradam fanfics are AU and Adam and Kris often have quite different backgrounds or futures and are often fantasy creatures, as well. They have crossed the line from "real" to fictional characters but with physical characteristics and some personality traits we know already. Their "real" characteristics are nothing more than a shortcut. In that case, I may hunt some down and use it as a distraction during this seemingly endless wait for new music. I've also read that some authors do not want to use real relationships to write about because it is creepy! |

I came to work later today and noticed that on 106.1 radio right after Kidd Kraddick our friend Toby Knapp was on. Kidd is local to this area so I assume that Toby's show is syndicated in this area. My question is - if a song is played on this type of program does it count as a spin in each area that it is played? (Sorry if this maybe should go in the numbers thread.) Kidd does play both Adele's and Bruno's new song almost every morning so if Adam has a mid tempo song there shouldn't be any reason it should not fit in the rotation. Spins are counted for each station that plays it regardless or origin. So syndicated shows are great for getting numbers up. |
