NEW** Adam Lambert
SOOOOO. Jason and I heard it FIRST. Adam Lamberts new single "Better Than I Know Myself" and its FIRE. It totally brings it back to vintage Lambert and reminds me of his original and amazing hit "Whataya Want From Me" but has that new, fresh feel to it. And, I mean...isnt that what we want from our favorite artists? Keep it classy but fresh all at once? Welp, he succeeded.
The lyrics and melody is great,you can sing along to it, feel the energy and sultry vibe to the song.
He has such passion in all of his music and this just seriously exceeds expectations. We cant post the audio just yet, but the second we can you guys will hear it!!!!
So, Lambert fans.....Keep eyes and ears open for this one. You wont be disappointed.

Dammit Dammit Dammit! I want some new Adam music already!! Getting soo angry hearing about how exciting and great it is from everyone, and I can't hear it myself!! Alright...I'll calm down now...just had to get that off my chest... This review gets me excited! I think it's smart to reference WWFM because many people loved the song and it was a hit. I'm excited about the part that says you can feel the energy and sultry vibe! |

I wonder if Adam could have ever conceived a few years ago that he would have to publicly tell the WORLD media and his 1.2 million fans that he didn't actually want the job of 'frontman' (and one of his personal idols) to the greatest rock band of all time  and that he had more important 'stuff' to do. I doubt it.... #Trespassing FTW *cackles*

I guess I am the odd one out. I am thrilled with every tantalizing tweet from every musician and every DJ. I don't follow any other artists, but this can't be the typical response to an upcoming single, can it? I am also thrilled with all the coverage about Adam and Queen. Accurate or confused, it gives Adam credibility as a legitimate rock singer and does much to erase or put in the background his AI beginnings and his notoriety as being the first out gay singer.... etc. I am sure many non-fans have clicked on the links and seen/heard the EMA performance or have gone looking for YT of Adam as a result. Some time back I came to terms with the delays in the music release. I fully expected nothing until 2012, so knowing we will have something great to listen to as a Christmas gift is all a plus for me. Announce it today, tomorrow, next week.... the avalanche has started and is picking up speed. I'm all good. - I think it's all good, too. The general public is not going to pay strict attention to every little detail, but they are hearing Adam's name w/ Queen's. All good! And as much as I am anxious to hear the new single, I'm feeling pretty privileged to be able to play that Adam/Queen medley *several* times a day. It will tide me over until BTIKM drops. BTW at MTV the video, after more than a month, is still #21 at most viewed, #2 at most comments and #1 at most shared. Pretty darn good! |

Well if you want to change the conversation Adam, simply make an announcement about the release date. I'm starting to lack sympathy for him. He needs to get the suits to move on this. I seriously doubt Adam is seeking, or needs, anyone's sympathy - I bet he's having the time of his life, and is excited as all get-out. Clearly RCA is doing its thang, priming radio for the single. As much as I want to hear it, I also want RCA Promo to have the time to do whatever it needs to do. If that means waiting a little while longer, so be it. Hell, we've waited this long. {sigh} |
