Just seems very odd. I actually went to several of their meetings about 15 years ago because of a couple who were my neighbors. I was kinda horrified at some of the stuff I heard at those meetings. They're really political in the US and the thing that pushed me over the edge was one of their bigwigs standing on stage saying he was friends with a Secret Service agent who told him Hillary Clinton was really a lesbian. They're very anti-gay. This was towards the end of the Clinton presidency. They're really strange crazy people.

Ack, been away most of the day but I see nothing new on the single front...grrrr
As far as Amway, maybe Adam feels that this is an opportunity to perform as an out and proud gay man in front of an audience that is not usually receptive to this. I mean, that's part of it right? Showing up proud and confident no matter the situation to possibly have an impact on people. They invited him, that was the opening. Maybe he decided to seize the opportunity. Preaching to the choir is safe but rarely helps affect change.

A few weeks ago we were resigned to the idea of Adam's single not coming out until January. It sounds like there is a lot going on all over the place with Adam, RCA and his managers. Am not going to second guess - am going to chill and listen to his old music and the EMA medley. Am going to chill... Am going to chill... Re Amway - this is Amway Japan - perhaps a little different attitude there - I don't know. If not, Adam will have an opportunity to change some minds - we all know resistance is futile... Am going to chill... All the stuff being discussed probably just shows the tip of the iceberg as far as what Adam has to be dealing with at this moment. Let's hope we fans don't add to whatever stress he is under. JMO Okay if I chill with YOU???!!!! Not knowing Amway or Amway Japan I was all excited. Adam is Adam, I believe I remember him saying "I'm Adam, NOT gay Adam" I'm sure I got that wrong. Anyway, just thinking he is a brilliant entertainer and why should he NOT be considered for an opportunity to fund his next tour? Please do not ban me from Adamtopia, I am a registered Republican, NOT, NO WAY a Pat Robertson supporter, yuk, but, YES ADAM has and does change minds. Adam is Adam, a POP STAR! So now to kidknap the finn and go to Susie's house ;D

Adam is a singer not a politician.. I for one don't care if he sings for an Amway function.. Gosh sometimes I wonder why we have to hold him to our standards.
We are fans right?

We've all said that by just being himself, Adam is a great contributor to the gay & lesbian civil rights cause. How are you going to change minds if you don't engage these people in some way?
