The show is on my TV, but not enough Adam. I'm recording it. I'll watch it later when I can FF. I don't have Sundance so I watched the live stream, he's only there 10 minutes? I stopped watching after that.

Way behind on the thread but Jive said that Kris was the #1 release on the Q4 2011 schedule in the Clear Channel Fall-Winter preview meetings. Toby accurately reported what the label said. That was before the Jive execs knew there would not be a Jive in Q4 2011. As a fan of both Kris and Adam, I feel like I've stumbled into bizarro world. Suddenly, Kris is sporting questionable facial hair, performing at the Trevor Project Gala for Lady Gaga, talking about dubstep, and releasing new music in Q1 2012; meanwhile Adam is a Q4 2011 priority who appears to be doing an acoustic performance at an Amway convention where he may premier his new single that, according to some, may be midtempo song akin to the HAC-friendly WWFM. I find this all so very strange and can't wait to see how this plays out! Where do you get the accoustic performance at this Amway convention? And Kris's second album also has dubstep?? Does RCA's telling Kris about Trespassing & Dubstep?? hhmm

He's not involved with Amway any more, but my baby brother had a real job and also did Amway back in the 90s. Thanks to that, he has a beautiful home, and a house on a lake, and a 3 bedroom oceanfront condo. Once the kids were born he didn't have time for it, but it's one pyramid that can be very, very profitable if you know how to recruit others and motivate them. Bro makes Tony Robbins look like an amateur.

But he also did a silly Christmas video from his home where they tried to duplicate dub step in a rap. The acoustic thing comes from Bani saying she didn't think the band was going to Shanghai with Adam. But, I think they would have to go, and maybe the details on this Amway gig are just very muddy! :-/

OMG, twitter is so hilarious right now! I completely agree that the Amway gig which was reported to be in the works long ago, has nothing to do with the single launch. It is possible, though, that the single is going for a test run at the gig, and the release was moved up to prevent a leak. Time will tell. We haven't heard anything official yet and this is all pure speculation. I think everyone should call a friend, go to a movie, have a bite to eat afterward, and if Adam tweets news, Yay! If not, no suicide attempts, no ulcers, no angst. Or just do what we've been doing for almost a year (since 12/17/10) WAIT.

Amway is a privately held US Corporation -- all of the global operations are owned by the same people. They have a ton of money. The company and the two founding families support both Republican (pro-business) and Evangelical Christian causes. They also financially support anti-gay causes....for example: "Amway billionaire Rich Devos, the owner of NBA team Orlando Magic, has donated $100K to support Florida's Amendment 2, which would make gay marriage double-extra banned in Florida. Protesters have been appearing at outside Magic games at Orlando's Amway Arena." Link: joemygod.blogspot.com/2008/10/amway-billionaire-gives-100k-to-fight.html

omg, yes /o\ and carrieb, I totally hear you. I'm gonna just hold out hope that Neil and Eber are unlikely to let Adam go into anything like a more formal relationship with them in the future (if there is any chance of that) without some serious weighing of the pros and cons.A question - do you really think that Eber or Neil have that much influence in Adam's business decisions ? Also, I think Adam is very astute and probably doesn't need his younger brother and dad to explain the 'facts of business life' to him - let's face it, he is the most successful of the interesting Lambert men. The thing is Adam has stated himself that he is, until recently, largely unaware of the political landscape. It's not his thing, but it is Eber's and Neil's. Nothing against Adam's general business savvy. I would guess that he probably had no idea of the history of anti-gay and right wing donations made by the founders and the corporation(at least in the US). I would hope his business managers would be aware though. I for one would hope we as fans stop talking about this and hope nobody else picks up on this. Elton John is still being raked over the coals for taking money to play at Rush Limbaugh's wedding. His excuse was that he was helping to open minds but nobody bought that. I say we drop it and hope nobody notices. If Adam didn't know any of this I'm sure he will very soon. I would hate to see him put in the position of defending himself when he probably had no idea about their history when he signed up. Sorry if I'm adding to the problem. I really just don't want this to gain momentum on the web. So I'll shut up starting now.

I saw a tweet posted (thought it was here) from someone indicating the Amway thing was no band, but it could mean nothing. And Kris did a video about dubstep, but he was joking!! I don't think any of it means anything; I just thought it was funny!
