Palladia has the EMAs scheduled quite a few times during December. Here is their schedule: Palladia channel schedule: Monday, December 12 2:30 PM 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards Wednesday, December 14 7:00 PM 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards Saturday, December 24 12:00 AM 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards Monday, December 26 7:00 PM 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards Friday, December 30 9:00 AM 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards Saturday, December 31 3:00 PM 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards Overall, even though Palladia is a rather obscure channel (882 in my region, others seem to have it on 743...), it seems to result in some people catching the show, as we heard here today. Some may be looking for the video on MTV and they must be better Ninja's than I would be, because the video has meanwhile climbed up to # 12 on the MTV most viewed list from #21 or something. So, somebody is watching. If you want to give it a hit, here is the link: www.mtv.com/most-popular/music-videos/?metric=numberOfViews&range... If you are really lucky you actually get the long director's cut version. Every once in a while, with a very unique MTV formula, they will play it for you. :D |

I was talking to @glam_alidol on twitter yesterday. ( I'm not exactly sure which Country She's from ) but this is what She said about the internet and twitter thing in China. @glam_alidol the phone with at&t 3gs could tweet directly from China @glam_alidol yes,and some hotel have special internet for foreigners. if he really wants to tweet, he could find many ways I think Susie is referring to wanting fans at the show to tweet, not the ability of Adam to tweet. Hey wait, what did I say? Or is @glam_alidol also named Susie? Here's what I do know because Schufly went to China in April  Twitter is blocked. However, you can still text, etc. So as an iPhone user, I know if I respond to a DM or text alert via text, it will publicly tweet it (danger, Will Robinson, that is the source of many DM fails). I DON'T know if that still happens in a Twitter-blocked country. Adam can certainly entrust his Twitter password to someone and then text what he wants tweeted if absolutely necessary. I'm hoping that we're past that by then and all flopping and flailing around like crazy people because single dropped, etc. Also, he could have recorded many, many interviews during that time. |

Good to know Adam can tweet from there if he wants to, although I'm not sure he'll ever say anything about this gig. Yes, you can tweet from your phone in China, but not from the internet since it is a banned site (as well as facebook). I remember this because I was there in late April this year, and Adam started tweeting up a storm - like well over 100 tweets between 4/22 and 5/1. I had him on text alert and was afraid I was going to have a HUGE phone bill and I couldn't get into my twitter account on the internet to turn it off. Luckily I enlisted the aid of a fellow PF'er to go into my account stateside and turn it off. When I got home I realized that you only get charged for the outgoing texts, and even then they are only 25 cents each on my account. How i drivel on.... the point it - yes fans can tweet :-) Yay for that. But if twitter is banned on the internet in China, not likely that a lot of people even have an account. Hmmmm.... |

LOL, we must have been typing at the same time :-) I just looked back at my tweets, and i had several from China - I think just via the phone, but it might have been via a text. Who knows. Palladia is part of almost every HDTV cable package in the US -- it is 1080i an is the one to record.
So not really obscure -- just has a high number on Comcast, Time Warner and other cable systems because it is with the HD channels.
