AfterElton ht.ly/458mKJavier Bardem and Josh Brolin Danced and Kissed at Oscars. Too Bad it Didn't Make the Telecast. So why the cut away? On one hand, it seems unlikely that ABC would find a kiss between Bardem and Brolin to be something needing to be censored. After all, back in 2006, the Oscar telecast included a Brokeback Mountain spoof featuring Jon Stewart and George Clooney in bed. On the other hand, the cutaway to Cruz seemed awkward and clearly lasted until the two men had stopped dancing. Frankly, it's hard not to wonder if it might not have something to do with the Adam Lambert imbroglio from the American Music Awards.

The YT is dated Nov 2010. Wonder why Adam would mention it now. Is it being released? There's 20+ seconds of instrumentals until she starts to sing. Didn't Q3 say 7 seconds should be max for a Pop song? Not that I care. Just curious. I dont know anything for the part you ask about the seconds lol, Q3 should answer this for you. This song is not her actuall vid i guess some fan recorded it. The song is from her new album and she is basically asking people now what song should be her next single for the summer and Adam said this one MAN DOWN. OH GOD IF I HEAR ANOTHER RIHANNA SINGLE I MAY JUST DIE. DIE. DIE. SRSLY SHE HAS HAD, WUT, LIKE 80 OF THEM IN THE PAST YEAR? I AM IN RIHANNA OVERLOAD. ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER....and the ears recover from autotune.

"[T]o me saying that Madonna cared more about being pretty and smooth than Gaga may just be another way of saying that Madonna was much prettier and smoother than Gaga. Gaga is working what she's got, in her own particular way." Yeah, she's probably the least traditionally "pretty" pop princess there is. But Gaga can and sometimes does do "pretty" - she just always "tweaks" it a little (like with anime contact lenses or something). As of right now, Madonna is working very hard to stay "pretty," I think, which is fine, and Katy Perry is ALL about the "pretty," which is also fine. To me Gaga is about creating different looks. "[C]hildbirth to me isn't sexy." Nope, no - it wasn't to me, either. I was referring to her very brief (compared to someone else's) hints at masturbation while dancing. "But I guess my problem with her "weirdness" is something other's have touched on today. If you're embracing the inevitable and wonderful weirdness of the human individual, which is presumably what this vid is about, then why set it in such a hard to relate to, alien, inhuman world?" Well, I just think it's a symbol, like "monster." The song is the first level - you were "Born this Way," gay or otherwise different. But accepting that and seeing yourself (and others) as beautiful is a CHOICE. In the vid, to me, that choice is an act of self re-creation. She gives birth to herself - as a part of a new, "alien," race that is accepting within the human race that is not. It's her - only . . . pointier in the cheekbones and shoulders. And she gives birth to the gun as a symbol of the CHOICE to defend and protect herself and the "new" race. But for me to try to articulate that in words is very weak - the visuals do it better and evoke tons of other things for other viewers, I think. Or they don't.

In truth, I am a very bad critic. There's hardly a popular artist I don't like. The only one I can think of is Eminem, and that's on principle. I recognize and appreciate his talent despite myself, I just hate the HATE and VIOLENCE in his songs, but then again - that is what they're about, and "Love the Way Lie" (oh - there's Rhianna again) is SO exactly what I think is going on inside the cycle of domestic violence . . . ah, hell - I guess I do like him, too. Who just irrevocably sux? (And don't say Ke$ha - I like her.

If it's a spontanious kiss then it is BAD. LOL! But why? They are just being cowards again. They didn't want to deal with it.

But I find it fairly easy to hate on a bunch of music out there--mainly the unselfaware schmaltz and cheese. The I love you so much please marry me you have my heart i'll be there whenever you want me you're beautiful and perfect in every possible way and your hair is so pretty and if you don't i'll rip my own heart out and stomp on it because baby my life would be over oh no-woh-oh-woh-ayyyyyyyyyautotunebeeeeeeeeep. But I'm not naming names
