Brought this over from last night discussion: Cassie, I think as I remembered from the DDD discussion, Freddie and Adam has almost the same vocal range. And Freddie's lowest range's 1 octave lower than Adam's and Adam's highest range's 1 octave higher than Freddie. Did I remember this correctly? (trying to find their vocal range thread) I am not a Freddie expert, but from what I have heard and seen on YT, his lowest notes sung were about 3 notes lower than the lowest notes I have heard Adam sing. On the other end, I have heard Adam sing about three notes higher than what is quoted as Freddie's high notes. From what I have read, Freddie was a baritone, while we know that Adam is a tenor. Freddie damaged his voice singing too much and/or without proper technique, and in concert in his later years, changed up the melodies and avoided the higher notes, leaving them to a back up singer or 20. That is always my fear for Adam, except that he seems to take very good care of his voice, he is diligent in his vocal warm ups, refuses to sing when asked if his voice is not warmed up, and I have never heard him strain his voice on the highest notes. I have discussed this with Angelina, the opera singer, and she has reassured me that Adam is singing properly and is not hurting his voice, even with the rock gravel he sometimes adds. Whew! Thanks cassie. Yes I also hope Adam will continue consult with a vocal coach everytime he's ready for his tour.

Hi, everyone! Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for all of the birthday greetings yesterday. It was cold and rainy here in L.A., but all of your good wishes definitely helped to warm up my day! Reihmer, thanks for the cake -- wish I could have reached into my laptop and taken a bite! And Seoulmate, you are amazing. I mentioned my birthday in a post last week, and you noticed and remembered it! I'm grateful, but also impressed by your memory -- I didn't even remember that post. Sorry to see no news on the single yet, but I'm hopeful for tomorrow. If no announcement then, I'm going to prepare myself for January. I agree with the folks here who said that if the single doesn't drop by 12/20, there won't be any point in releasing it until next month. Whatever happens, I'll be ready to hit Itunes the minute BTIKM is available. I got an Itunes gift card for my birthday, so I'm all set for some new music! Finally, thanks to everyone who posted macros for the laughs today. It's nice to see some of the classics resurface, and the newer ones are pretty hilarious, too. They were a great counterbalance to the moronic tweeting from GQ. I'm happy to see GLAAD respond so quickly. Back to work. Cheers, everybody!

Uploaded by ArtisanNewsService on Dec 13, 2011 Queen drummer Roger Taylor says that he and guitarist Brian May are planning something for 2012 with Adam Lambert, but will the discovery of Marc Martel for the Queen Extravaganza put a damper on it? Is that " some are insisting no need for Adam Lambert"??? With Adam he makes it his own... as was said by Brain May...we really aren't Queen anymore with just the two of us left ...so win win. Exactly why Roger and Brian are not playing this music with Martel...no use in rousing up kareoke comparisons. Can't win with the comments...Adam was marvelous with Queen and he sang HIS WAY, in HIS VOICE.

While I hate to interrupt this hilarious macro posting party, I just have to say that if the song is released on Dec 20th it will be an awesome birthday present in an otherwise difficult year. This will make the 2nd year in a row that I will celebrate my birthday with no job security whatsoever. Last year I was told on Dec 16th that my position was being eliminated as of Jan 31st...a mere 4 days before my day, and this year my company has been acquired. I have no idea if i will have a job or not, but at least I have a few months (as far as I know). So, Adam....if you wanna somehow salvage this birthday for me...releasing your new song would be a GREAT present! LOL ;D Now...back to fun with Macros...carry on... I truly hope Adam gives you that birthday present! It'll be a whopper! Hope all turns out well for you job-wise, Smargie75!! Thanks for the hug and well wishes!!! Right back at ya!!
