Hi guys. I had computer issues and had the Geek Squad here today. They recommended Kaspersky security software which I downloaded. Everything is working great EXCEPT I can's see any of the videos posted. They are blank with a little box at the top that says blocked. I am using and have always used Firefox. Any suggestions. I sure as hell don't want to miss the unveiling, whatever it may be.

Question. In the course of my fandom I have signed up and joined so many Adam boards it was ridiculous :  , but for some reason I never, ever joined AO. I hated the layout, I hated the unreadable white text on a black background, I hated that I couldn't find anything.... yadda, yadda, yadda So.... should I join now? Is their a good reason to? Will there be any advantages? Surely anything posted there will get relayed out and go viral on twitter and other boards. Help  Are we there yet?  |

juniemoon - Thanx. I enjoyed that. Always love that song. Sang it to my kids/grandkids. Very impressed with your skills. I have an idea for a fan vid, but absolutely NO idea how to do one. Some day. :-/ You all inspired me to see if I could still log on to AO. I could. But, I gotta say, it made me remember why I DO NOT LIKE THAT SITE. Yuk. Nope. Not at all.

MY EYES, MY EYES. I'll wait and see if it really gets a redesign and if there's the necessity to join (which imo won't be the case anyhow) I might reconsider. |

Called my geek son for you. He said Kaparksy blocks all kinds of stuff. He advised: make sure you have latest java and flash installed. turn off kaparksy and reboot computer. Don't know if that's what you need, but he does this for a living.
ETA: He also asked if you were trying to view porn cos kaparksy might block that. I wonder if our stuff qualifies for porn! hehe!

Fan counter at AO keeps going up.....547 online now. Far, far cry from back in the day. Don't I remember like 10K+?? I think a lot of fans gave up on AO because it's pretty poorly run and/or they found home boards like this one where there aren't trolls trying to spoil the fun. |
