BTIKM is a real ear worm. Can't get it out of my head. And, I agree with others, that, altho that snippet sounds similar to the demo, the voice is much richer and more powerful on the chorus. Celebratory, almost.
The only down side I hear.... as I understand it, to be a huge hit, it has to be a song that everyone can sing along to. With that kind of range, who is gonna be able to sing along to it? Have you tried? Well, maybe people will just drop it down an octave to make it sing-able.

I am in love with that cover. Totally pensive. Like an awakening taking place inside. I love that picture more than I can even express as this moment.

Y'know, someone here - yesterday or today, can't remember - posted that they wondered if Adam's single would be able to please ALL of us. And I thought, no - he can't do that. Not EVERYone. But there's the whole album to come . . . and I actually do think that that is going to have something to please EVERYone.

And Lyndsey Parker weighs in \o/ music.yahoo.com/blogs/reality-rocks/adam-lambert-reveals-single-artwork-internet-explodes-215951820.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterAdam Lambert Reveals New Single Artwork; Internet ExplodesAnticipation for Adam Lambert's new single, "Better Than I Know Myself," continues to build at a heart-palpitating pace. After months of semi-hibernating in the studio working on his second album, Trespassing, he's raised his perfectly coiffed profile as of late, previewing his album in Rolling Stone and appearing on "Project Runway," "Majors & Minors," "On The Line With Joe Zee," the American Music Awards, and, most thrillingly, on the MTV EMAs, closing out the show with a magnificent performance fronting Queen. He's also been quite the Twitter-tease, tempting fans with repeated tweets about "Better Than I Know Myself," and last night he tweeted about some sort of countdown to a big "unveiling" that had Glamberts chewing their black-painted fingernails down to the nubs in excitement. ... more

I like the song snippet! WWFM was not my favorite from FYE - I prefer the dancier songs (IIHY was my fav). I think BTIKM is similar to WWFM but may be a bit more tempo and will even be a bit catchier? Can't wait to hear the whole thing! And I will be thrilled if it does as well as WWFM but fingers crossed it does even better!
Just so happy to hear his voice fianlly!

Oh that Adam! What he can do with his voice. It sounds wicked high, I agree. And, for any other singer, it is. But, not for our BB. The repeated note in the chorus is a Bb4. That is a half step lower than the high note he floated every night on tour in Soaked. The highest note on my SEEEEEELF is an EB5. Just a half step higher than that loooong extended note at the end of live "Feeling Good." Definitely singable on tour, tho' I would predict that he might drop the key by about a half step like he did with many of the GNT songs. I was afraid that, when the single came out, it would be perfect for pop/top 40, but I would not like it. WRONG. This is gonna be sooooo good. Very catchy. Love the harmonies. The sound is energetic and happy. From that tiny little 30 sec clip can you hear any auto-tune. I've seen someone on another board b*tching they can hear it. ??? That person probably doesn't even know what autotune is! :

The rest can be for his artistic vision! ;D
