Adam Lambert, Sheridan Smith, Jason Manford and Beverley Knight have been confirmed as panelists for ITV's Starstruck. Olly Murs will serve as host of the new competition show. "Starstruck will see ordinary members of the public with an exceptional talent team up to transform into some of the world's biggest music icons from Amy Winehouse to Ariana Grande, Lionel Richie to Lady Gaga, Marvin Gaye to Michael Buble, and many more in between," ITV said in a press release. The series will include six, 75-minute episodes and a 90-minute finale. The winner will walk away with a $69,000 cash prize. |

Wouldn't it be fun if any of the contestants tried to "transform" into Adam Lambert? LOL
Can't wait to see how this show goes, esp. the Adam parts.

After all my excitement over the email that I had a virtual 'ticket' to Starstruck...the link has not arrived. So....I am just sitting with my fingers crossed that they reply to my email and send it to me. Perhaps my first instinct re some form of geo blocking was right and I got all excited for nothing!! Boooo if so....

I am up and dressed and waiting so even if it is a last minute link I will be there. But I must confess...I am not feeling too positive. I knew it was too good...and odd...to be true. sigh.
eta....just saw a tweet from Adam Lambert Daily saying spots are for UK residents only! That is what I had expected but I guess they did not take not of my physical address when I applied.....I even put makeup on...the first in months....sigh...here I sit, all by myself, on a rainy miserable Saturday morning....all made up and nowhere to go!! How pitiful.....  |
